Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #16

"I know that you are planning to take the mutants with you and leave for Okkara with them in 6 months. I am here to ask you to wait another 2 years after your planned time to bring the mutants away."

Jack instantly felt defensive.

'Why does he want me to hold off on bringing the mutants away? Is there an issue with Okkara? Is something major happening to Earth and he needs the mutants' help?'

The One Above All decided to answer all of Jack's questions before he asked them.

"There is indeed a major event occurring. And the mutants are needed to help overcome it. You see, this universe was built differently than all the others. It is an anomaly if you will. And one of the key differences is how time works.

Unlike all the other universes, any changes made to the timeline only affect this universe and not any other. It does not create an alternate timeline/universe. It is the one true timeline."

"Then why do mutants need to stay on the planet?" Jack still didn't understand why the One Above All wanted them to remain.

"Because without the mutant population there, humanity will die. A unique disease will spread across the land that will take away the powers of all mutates.

And with their most powerful heroes taken out, only those with magic or technological skills would be able to resist. But they alone will not be enough.

I cannot be directly involved because humanity must survive on its own. So I am asking you to help save my children. Please, Jack Frost. Keep humanity alive. Because while you may be a mutant, you are also a human."

Jack had no issues staying on Earth to help humanity. He resented humans for looking down on mutants. He believed that mutants should be allowed to shine as brightly as anyone else with natural gifts could.

But even with his resentment, there was no hate. Jack had so many friends and allies that were humans. He wanted to protect them just as much as he wanted to protect mutants. Okkara was the place for that to happen.

But even if he had no issues with helping out humanity, he would still get a free benefit if it was offered to him.

"And my reward for keeping the mutants on Earth?"

"This."

An orb floated in front of Jack which he grabbed to see. It was an ability orb that he had gotten so many times before.

[Limited Ressurection: The user is able to bring up 100 individuals back to life in their prime condition per day.]

Jack accepted the orb without hesitation. Even with his new strength, he could only bring people back from the dead in corrupted forms of their normal selves. Their minds would also be very corrupted and muddled. But with this new power, he had nothing to worry about.

The One Above All laughed when he saw that Jack did not hesitate to accept the orb. He knew that he was taking advantage of Jack's current weakness but he had to play dirty. Jack's participation was needed.

"I would say our deal has concluded then. If you need anything else, you can call me up to 3 times."

Before Jack could respond, the world went dark for a moment before he reappeared above Olympus. Jack looked down and saw that the mountain had been fully repaired from his battle with Nyx.

'Was it Stan (One Above All) or the fusion of the two realms that did this?'

He could see that most of the land had remained the same but Olympus had appeared about 50 miles away from Eden. Instead of floating in the air or being unapproachable by non-divine beings, anyone could walk up the mountain.

'It looks good there. But it will look better, over here.'

Jack used his control of the realm to lift Olympus into the air before bringing it next to Eden. He then sent it higher and higher into the air until the mountain could barely be seen.

Jack landed in Eden before calling out to his friend.

"Krakoa."

The treant body of Krakoa appeared in front of Jack. Jack looked him up and down before deciding to ask a favor of Krakoa.

"Can you use your main body to connect to that mountain in the sky? Maybe form a large tree with an internal structure that would allow others to walk up to the top."

"Yeeessss," Krakoa spoke with some difficulty

The main body of Krakoa that had spread out all around Eden began to transform from a forest into a giant tree. The tree was able to reach 20 miles into the sky before digging into the base of Olympus and forming a true connection.

Krakoa also extended its roots beneath the ground of Eden and created an entire subterranean biome that some of the inhabitants of Okkara would be able to live in.

Jack looked at the sight and smiled. This was even better than he had imagined. He finally made a decision.

"Krakoa. You have been here with me for the longest. You have seen my darkest secrets and seen me at my weakest. And you have never used either of those against me. Would you like to be the first god of this domain?"

Krakoa was stunned when it heard Jack's question but nodded with slight confusion in its eyes.

Jack raised his right hand and placed it on Krakoa's head before he used the newest power he had been given from his title [Leader of Okkaro] to give Krakoa its own divinity.

Jack saw the golden words get created and could actually read what they said.

[Divine World Tree]

The words entered Krakoa's forehead and transformed both him and his main body.

Krakoa's avatar changed its shape. It no longer looked like a tree trying to take on a humanoid form but a human created entirely out of wood. Krakoa's blue eyes shone with more intelligence than ever before.

The main body of Krakoa looked much smoother than before. It also changed its color tones from greens and reds to purples and blues. It was obvious that it took some of its divine traits from Jack.

"I like the new look, Krakoa."

Krakoa smiled back at Jack. It looked much better and more human than he had before.

"Thanks. I like it too."
