After the first infected were found, they stood there, frozen, in the horror of seeing their colleagues in such a vile state.

While the man, seemingly thinking of what to do, stopped moving, and then instantly leaped and attempted to attack the search team.

The defense team immediately aimed their guns and shot the infected man. After getting shot multiple times, the body fell and lay on the ground, lifeless.

The search team then started an investigation site and contacted HQ. After studying the body, the team transported the seemingly lifeless corpse of the infected man.

The corpse started secreting a jelly-like substance, covering its entire body.

Right after receiving the report, HQ immediately wanted to take in the corpse and study it. They wanted it to be transported to HQ in a truck.

After loading it in a truck, the team then went in the other transport cars and formed a convoy through the Pahoy Path.

But little did they know, that a soldier from the rebel group, the organization that was formed through the opposition of the masses against the Elios occupation, was watching them. After seeing the truck using the Pahoy Path, he immediately placed many hidden mines on the road, to eliminate the truck.

The Crow Corp was an Elios-based corporation that sent many bases in many countries, and Elios greatly benefited from Crow Corp's research, so the rebel soldier thought he was doing his home country, Orm, a favor.

He did not.

That single attack caused the catastrophe that would happen in his home, all because of one, just one single attack.

Billions will die and will fight for an enemy, far worse than Elios.

After some minutes, the rebel soldier contacted his group and started a plan to kidnap the research team and place a ransom for their lives.

And his group arrived, and they agreed, thinking it would just be another simple kidnapping attack. After many minutes, the truck was near the place of the mine, and the rebel group prepared for the attack.

The truck triggered the mines, and the mines blew up under the truck. Amidst the destruction, the rebel group charged and attempted to attack the convoy, but the defense team counter-attacked.

A battle started, and both sides were fiercely attacking each other, but the defense team is outnumbered, mostly injured, and most of all, scared. The defense team weren't just mercenaries hired to guard their clients, they also had families to feed, and seeing their lives flash in their minds, some of them started to cry, but even with the burden weighing their shoulders, the same could be said for the rebel group.

They fought on after some time passed, and the defense team was completely eliminated. Even when they were completely outnumbered, 12:98, the defense team still managed to take down 53 enemies. Those mercenaries were highly trained, but they couldn't win even with the years they trained and the hardships they experienced, but they couldn't win against the many enemies, that were willing to die for their own country, but after some time, the rebel group will no longer have any country to die for, they will die for a cause that will harm their own home, Orm.

After their victory, the rebel group looked grim, seeing the casualties on their side, made them realize that maybe they were doing more harm than good, yet they needed to finish the mission, so they captured the research team and the others to investigate the truck.

After opening the back, a scent could be smelled even meters away, it smelled bad, it could be smelled from 10 meters away, it smelled like a rotten corpse, smeared with fresh feces from a dilapidated baby that had the worst case of diarrhea, like a sewer in a hot day, molds, all kinds of bad scent could be smelled.

The rebel group covered their noses with cloth, but even so, they could still smell the pungent scent. The truck started to shake, it seemed like something wanted to go out.

The soldier prepared his gun and aimed. After a few seconds, when he saw a glowing glare from inside the truck, he squeezed his finger on the trigger, right as the mysterious creature screeched, but before the gun would shoot, the truck blew up, knocking the man out and killing him.

After the explosion, the group immediately went near the dead corpse thinking that he was still alive.

Then, when the group was distracted, one man shouted, right as his chest was pierced by the infected patient 0, previously thought to be deceased.

The infected somehow evolved into a superior form, able to withstand multiple bullets, can regenerate damages quickly, and could move at high speeds. The rebel group couldn't do anything against it.

The whole rebel group and even the Crow Corp. team were completely annihilated by the evolved infected. The HQ attempted to contact its employees, but they received nothing.

Another search team was formed to find the missing team and most especially the truck with the infected specimen. When the search team finally found the site of the incident, they only found the destroyed truck and its debris.

The other vehicles are also found to be destroyed. But all the bodies were missing, and signs of a gunfight could be seen in the location. And even the infected specimen is missing from the truck.

After the incident, it was completely covered up and completely classified. This incident would be known as "The Pahoy Incident".

The missing specimen will be the cause of the greatest catastrophe Orm will ever have, aside from the UR-001 Bombing. The catastrophe would require all countries to unite to stop it. And a coordinated and deadly team of soldiers.

"lol, Orm is so screwed."
