Soft music filled the air. The beautiful tone reverberated throughout the restaurant, resounding in the patrons ears.

The pianist danced his long fingers across the keys, his eyes closed as he focused on the sound of the notes that he effortlessly produced.

The restaurant was busy tonight, as it was one of the fanciest five star cuisine in all of City B.

While the front of the restaurant sported beautiful white cloth tables, the back was more intimate with closed off booths that hid VIPs from prying eyes.

At one such booth, sat a red haired vixen. Her red dress accented her fiery locks, and contrasted with the white skin of her legs exposed from the high slit that came up to her upper thigh.

Crimson jewels sparkled on her ears and neckline, drawing attention to her inappropriate cleavage.

Many guests were dressed elegantly, however this woman stood out as her dress bordered on the line of a call girl. She appeared as someone who wanted to stand out so much it would seem they were compensating for something they lacked.

Green eyes were slanted in disdain as the woman tapped her foot impatiently.

"Where is he?" Vivian hissed under her breath as she took a sip of her red wine.

Vivian had been waiting for 20 minutes now, alone at the booth while she waited for her lover.

"Miss would you like to order now or would you prefer to wait for your companion?" A waiter inquired as he brushed past the quiet booth.

Vivian glared at the man.

"I'll wait. Don't bother me again." She demanded as she looked away from the waiter in annoyance.

The waiter nodded and moved on to his next guest.

Vivian strummed her long nails against the table.

She was growing tired of waiting and pulled out her phone.

She angrily typed a message to her lover when she felt the seat next to her dip and a warm hand brushed back her long red locks.

Lips whispered across her neck in a silent kiss.

"Did I make you wait long?" A deep voice inquired sensually.

Vivian quickly locked her phone screen as she turned towards her lover with a pout.

"Drazen, I thought you weren't coming, I've been waiting so long." She huffed.

The man chuckled.

"I apologize I had some matters to attend to." Drazen soothed the angry red head as he pulled back to admire the woman next to him.

She was one of many that he was involved with, however she had gone the extra mile tonight.

He inwardly grinned as he thought of how she would look on the hotel bed later tonight.

Dumb, useful, and a good lay.

"How could I not come see you my dear. Especially when you look so ravishing tonight." He lustfully growled with a hungry look.

Vivian felt her cheeks warm and she smiled as she placed a hand on the man's shoulder.

"Just for you darling." She replied softly, returning his list filled gaze with her own.

"Hmm, we could always skip dinner and move straight to dessert." He proposed with a smile.

Vivian huffed.

"But I got all dressed up tonight. I want to wear it a bit longer." She insisted picking up her glass. "Plus I haven't seen you in so long. I want to make this night last." She huffed taking a long sip.

The man chuckled as he called a waiter over with a flick of his hand.

"Two of the usual." Drazen demanded, the waiter nodded and scurried off to the kitchen.

Drazen brought a hand up to Vivians ear to touch the bright red jewel that sparkled against her skin.

"I see you've gotten a new gift?" He lightly inquired.

Vivian shivered from the man's touch.

"Ah yes. My doggy bought me some new gifts recently." She elongated her neck to show off her necklace as well.

Drazen hummed in thought.

"My brother is still spoiling you I see." He noted drawing his hand away from the jewel.

Vivians lips curled into a sneer.

"Of course. He adores me like a good dog should." She cackled.

"Well that just won't do." Drazen frowned.

He reached into his pocket to produce a small black velvet box.

"I can't have my brother outdoing me. I brought a gift for you but perhaps you won't want it now that you already have a gift from him." He hummed thoughtfully as he turned the box over in his hand.

Vivian shook her head and greedily extended her hands.

"Anything from him never compares to what you give me darling." She smiled waiting for him to pass her the gift.

Drazen chuckled.

"Ah ah ah. I'll give it to you later." He pushed the box back into his pocket as he turned towards her.

"First I believe you have some information for me my dear." He responded with a serious tone.

Vivian gave him a wronged look as she put her hands down in embarrassment.

"Oh yes. Silas finally gave me the information you've been waiting for." Vivian started her mood took a downturn.

"Well go on I'm listening." Drazen prompted.

Vivian sighed.

"He plans on making a marriage contract with someone." Vivian began as she started wringing her hands nervously.

Drazen furrowed his eyebrows.

Why was his brother getting married? To someone other than Vivian?

"With who?" He pressed.

"I don't know he wouldn't tell me. He said that I would be able to see him as often or publicly while he was married." Vivian seethed in anger.

Drazen opened his eyes wide at her statement.

Vivian may have burned out her usefulness to him if she would no longer be able to get close to Silas.

He quickly debated cutting himself off from her by the end of the night. He didn't have time to waste on useless things.

"He told me I would only be able to see him in private. As if I would want that. Who does he think he is treating me like some mistress!" Vivian huffed in resentment.

Drazen nodded thoughtfully.

So Vivian could still get information on Silas.

Maybe he could still use her after all.

"All because of that stupid will. A legitimate heir humph." Vivian crossed her arms angrily.

Drazen paused.

"What?" Drazen asked. His gray eyes narrowed.

Vivian glanced over at the blond man.

"He said that the will is demanding he procure a legitimate heir in order to remain CEO. Now he's throwing me to the side like I'm nothing all because you told me to tell him I'm unable to have children. Not that I'd want to be the mother of that idiot man's children but still. I like to shop and he always takes me out shopping. How will I survive." Vivian stuck her bottom lip out in a pout.

Drazen took the information in as it absorbed slowly in his brain.

An heir.

A contract marriage.

A smile spread across his face.

So his hunch had been correct.

That old man did put the requirement of an heir in his will.

Drazen had made his move early on by tying Silas to Vivian, and even had her tell his brother she was infertile.

Who knew his brother would respond with this daring move.

Drazen was amused with his brothers choice.

"Well played." He chuckled under his breath.

"What was that?" Vivian asked hearing the man beside her.

Drazen couldn't wait to see what his brother would do next.

He only hoped his brother continued to amuse him.

"Nothing my dear. So is Silas ending your relationship then?" Drazen turned his attention back to his lovely pawn.

Vivian laughed.

"No. He's keeping us a secret so that he won't lose the child due to infidelity. He plans on keeping the child, divorcing the woman, and making me the mother of that abomination once he marries me. Although that won't happen. I would never become the mother to that thing, or that idiot's wife. We all know who is going to become the true owner of Night Corp." Vivian cackled, grinning conspiratorily at the blond man beside her.

Drazen smiled.

So that was Silas' intention.

This was perfect.

He put an arm around Vivian, his charming gaze hiding his wicked plans.

"Of course my dear. And once all is done you will be waiting for me at the end of the aisle to truly become the wife of the CEO of Night Corp. Until then, we still have some work to do. I need you to stay close and keep an eye on my brother." Drazen instructed.

Vivian nodded leaning into Drazen's embrace.

"Anything for you. We truly are two sides of the same coin." She gushed stroking his arm affectionately.

Drazen tilted Vivian's face towards him and gave her a deep passionate kiss.

He pulled away and spotted the waiter returning with their food.

"We truly are. Now let's enjoy our dinner." He responded as the plates were placed on the table.
