A SPY AMONG US

A couple of hours passed since she stopped at the lake, and it was now close to midnight. She knew she needed to be headed back, but really did not want to get up and run all that way back. Since she was in wolf form, she could always spend the night here, but knew that was not a wise decision. She knew if she did not head home soon, her mother would have people out looking for her, and she did not want them to know about this spot, because this would be were, she goes for now on to get away from everyone. She sat up on her front legs and sighed in her head. She was not ready to go back, but time was starting to slip away from her. She took one last long glance at the lake in front of her, hoping the future was not as bad off as she thought it was going to be, with the war starting at all. They knew this was coming though.
