Rosana glanced around, disoriented, and her vision filled with a dozen other arrows, golden shafts of light now hovering all around her. A sinking feeling settled in her stomach—she needed a plan, and she needed it fast. Her thoughts were interrupted by the faint sound of clapping from below. It was Yun-Jin, her eyes focused and determined, the sound like a harbinger of what came next.
Suddenly, the arrows shot towards her, each one faster than the last, leaving a streak of golden light in their wake. Rosana reacted on pure instinct, heat flooding her veins as she channeled the flames in her hands and thrust herself upwards, attempting to dodge the incoming attack. Her body twisted and spun, flames propelling her just enough to evade the immediate strikes. But there was no respite, no chance to breathe.
"I got you," Yun-Jin's voice echoed, firm and resolute.
