Overlords

As the three powerful auras descended into the Nefarious Sanctuary, the crowd inside the pit began to calm down.

They were familiar with these auras, as each aura belongs to their Sect Masters.

Boooooom!

A smooth yet powerful impact reverberated within the pit, as the three Sect Masters made their appearance.

The three supreme beings of this world; the three Overlords that holds the greatest authority within the Blue Pearl World; the Sect Master of the Starfall Sect, Sect Master Bai Lizi; the Sect Master of the Heavenly Sword Mountain Sect, Sect Master Griffith; and lastly the Sect Master of the Divine Void Sect, Sect Master Zhou Yi.

These beings were the pinnacle of cultivation of this world at the Fifth Level of Core Formation Stage. And all three of them were mobilizing because it had been a struggle for them to improve and breakthrough from their current level, and they were expecting that this new world might have ways for them to breakthrough.

It had been Sect Master Griffith who had left his seclusion first at the behest of Zhu Hongwu. Zhu Hongwu had sent him a personal message, earnestly insisting on sending the Sect Master to facilitate the scouting of the world beyond the spatial crack. Zhu Hongwu had indicated how the spatial crack had attracted a very powerful being from the other world, and based on the information from Neebo, such being was not the Overlords or the peak from their world. This only means that the world beyond has more opportunities to offer than theirs. And if they want to have a complete rule in this world, they must seek any means to place themselves before their rivals and competitions.

Thus, Sect Master Griffith left his seclusion without any hesitations.

This act was detected by his rivals from the other great Sects. At first, they were very hesitant. Since they don't have the information that Zhu Hongwu had, they were quite doubtful of Sect Master Griffith's actions. But neither of them wanted to be left behind by their rival, they too left their seclusions and accompanied Sect Master Griffith along the way.

It was Sect Master Griffith's voice that echoed powerfully within Hazel Grove kingdom. He was adorned with his mighty golden armor and a black regal cloth underneath it. His visage displayed that he was a man in his mid-forty's, yet his age was somewhere in the thousands. His voice came down to everyone as if it was a mighty edict from the heavens itself, a roaring thunder with the highest authority.

The crowd inside the Nefarious Sanctuary all bowed down, as their respective Sect Masters had made their appearance.

"Greetings, Sect Masters!"

"Hongwu, what is the meaning of this?" Sect Master Griffith's eye was burning with fury as he was met by this chaotic situation before the spatial crack. If anybody here had a deep knowledge with foreign lifeforms, it would be they, the three Overlords of the Blue Pearl World, since they had been alive for roughly a thousand years already. Thus they know the dangers of creating a ruckus before a spatial crack. The energies that they were erupting with might attract a powerful being from the world beyond; it would take away their advantage, if the other world knew of the spatial crack, they might be preparing the same scouting as they were doing.

Sect Master Zhou Yi was also infuriated by this. He was the oldest and most revered among the three Overlords, at the age of a thousand and three hundred years old. He was adorned with his white immortal robes, with purple markings of their Sect in his back. He had a head full of white hair that reaches his waist. Clearly he was the most wise looking and most fierce.

Sect Master Zhou Yi was very disappointed with this crowd, as it was clearly the most stupid and unwise thing to do before a spatial crack. His aura emitted a strong and powerful killing intent, but he was clearly controlling it, so that it won't escape through the spatial crack.

"Meng Fu, what nonsense has proliferated within the stupid minds of yours that you have been allowing people to discharge auras before a spatial crack? Have all of you gone stupid?" Sect Master Zhou Yi spoke threateningly.

Inside Neebo's head, Grecian had been boisterously laughing. Discovering that these three were the Sect Masters of the three great Sects of this world, he couldn't help but be very satisfied at how weak and ignorant these fools were.

Grecian was not worried at all that this group could pose any threat against his world. He was a peak Ninth Level Core Formation Stage expert; he was a step away from breaking through the Nascent Soul Stage. And although he had been overly caught off guard by the intelligence of this world in formation seals, he was confident that only Zhu Hongwu's Celestial Sword Seal and Meng Fu's formation skills were the best this world could offer.

"Kid, if not for you I could've ruled over this puny world of yours easily!" Grecian commented as he laughed.

Although Neebo felt troubled at first, Grecians comments greatly put his mind at ease. At least he knows someone who's far stronger than these three great Overlords, and that was his pet spider Grecian. His mind raced with wicked thoughts of how he could take advantage of his situation. But also, with great caution, since he didn't want to attract any unwanted attention. His world was about to face an even greater threat that was Grecian's Nine Seas Demon World.

"Well, we could rule over it together." Neebo replied in his mind, Grecian reacted with another round of boisterous laughter and satisfaction.

Hearing the inquiries of their Sect Masters, Zhu Hongwu bowed and answered first.

"My apologies, Sect Master! I didn't intend to cause a ruckus, as I was just doing my responsibilities protecting our disciples from the outside threat." Zhu Hongwu's reply irked the nerves of Meng Fu and Bai Feng. He was simply implying that they were the cause of this chaotic situation.

"Meng Fu, explain this to me now!" Sect Master Zhou Yi's voice echoed like a bomb inside everyone's head.

Meng Fu dropped to his knees as he had received a very powerful blow from his Sect Master, "Apologies Sect Master! This has nothing to do with the spatial crack, but because Zhu Hongwu had kept a brat named Neebo, the criminal who had offended the Starfall Sect and the Divine Void Sect. At our fervent plea of giving Neebo's custody to us for his punishment, Zhu Hongwu had insisted on protecting him from us, thus, leaving Brother Bai Feng with no other choice but to act upon violence." Meng Fu answered.

Sect Master Zhou Yi's eyes flared up, he found where Zhu Hongwu is and spoke. "Sect Master Griffith, I believe that the Divine Void Sect along with the Starfall Sect would need an explanation for this." He was very angry at this moment; he didn't expect that he would find the situation to be this out of control. He had sent his most famous disciple in Meng Fu, expecting him to lead this group of people to watch over the Nefarious Sanctuary. But he didn't expect Meng Fu to be outsmarted by Zhu Hongwu. Clearly, Zhu Hongwu had more information than Meng Fu.

Sect Master Griffith had a calm and collected demeanor. Hearing the answers from Zhu Hongwu and Meng Fu gave him a general understanding that Zhu Hongwu had took the advantage of the situation by keeping the kid named Neebo. He knew that Zhu Hongwu wouldn't act recklessly, as such; fervently protecting this person was in favor of his great interest.

Sect Master Griffith detected Neebo's presence; he was only at the First Level of Qi Condensation Stage. This further confirmed his theory that this kid holds crucial information that Meng Fu and Bai Feng also wanted.

Sect Master Griffith spoke gently and intimidatingly, "This problem could be resolved after we finish setting up protective measures in this area, as well as scouting the world that connects with ours through that spatial crack. This is our priority, not some stupid issues that was created by a First Level of Qi Condensation Stage Cultivator. Or have you forgotten your own words, Sect Master Zhou Yi?"

Sect Master Zhou Yi was indeed blinded by his rage, as Sect Master Griffith's words splashed like a barrel of water to his burning anger. "So be it! Meng Fu prepare the protective seals to be installed within the world beyond. Take those disciples with you, so that they wouldn't grow stupid as this crowd." Sect Master Zhou Yi said condescendingly. He didn't care what the others reaction was, the three Overlords were equal in all terms. And there wouldn't be any opportunity for one to be working with another, for they have too much enmity against each other, and they have too much pride to work together to defeat a single rival.

"Hahaha! Spoken like a true wise old man!" a boisterous laugh resounded in reply to Sect Master Zhou Yi's commands; it was the Starfall Sects Sect Master, Sect Master Bai Lizi. He had a very hulky body indicating that he was the peak Body Cultivator of this world; he doesn't have any upper garments and only had a red war pants, as he wore a golden armor over his body. His armor was crude yet regal, clearly displaying that it wasn't for decoration of status, but for the reason that he had been through a lot of tough battles. Compare to Sect Master Griffith's light armor, Sect Master Bai Lizi's armor felt very secured but bulky.

Sect Master Bai Lizi continued, "Sect Master Zhou Yi is truly unfathomably soft in regards to punishing his disciples! Bai Feng, come and receive yours!"

Bai Feng paled after hearing his Sect Masters command, he hurriedly step forward and accepted his beating. And although the beating didn't have any Qi in it, every punch seem to carry a very big weight that made Bai Feng cough a mouthful of blood.

Sect Master Bai Lizi was truly brutal, he was known as the Battle Freak Overlord. So much so that he treated his own people as his own rivals; never taking it easy on them in training, as if he were killing them with his teachings; Sect Master Bai Lizi was the cruelest Overlord out of the three.

After beating Bai Feng, Sect Master Bai Lizi commanded the rest of the Starfall Sect disciples to prepare for battle. As they were tasked to do everything it takes to take hold of the area within the world beyond.

After which, Sect Master Bai Lizi spoke towards Sect Master Griffith subtly; "Sect Master Griffith, do you have any useful information about the world beyond the spatial crack that we ought to know?"

Sect Master Griffith smiled, "I do, the world beyond is a much more powerful world than ours. So I suggest everyone to be cautious and not to create a stupid ruckus as we had encountered before, to avoid powerful beings into our world."

"Hahaha! Well that depends on Sect Master Zhou Yi, he has the most uncontrollable anger issue out of all the people that I know of! Hahaha!" Sect Master Bai Lizi laughed boisterously as he insulted Sect Master Zhou Yi subtly.

Sect Master Zhou Yi had a very gloomy and intimidating air on him, as he had known these two Sect Masters for a long time already. And these kinds of insults had already grown common for him after all these years. But it wasn't received warmly by the disciples of the Divine Void Sect; they too had an intimidating aura on them as they heard the insults on their Sect Master.

Sect Master Zhou Yi noticed this, "Don't mind the stupid ape talking, just make sure to do your tasks well. It is the duty of us higher beings to protect those of lesser intelligence."

"Yes Sect Master!" All four disciples replied with pride and confidence.

On the other side, Zhu Hongwu retracted the Celestial Sword Seal that he had used to protect the Heavenly Sword Mountain Sect disciples, as well as keep away the energies from escaping into the other world.

Sect Master Griffith smiled as he moved closer to Zhu Hongwu, "You have done a great job this time, Hongwu. You have kept true to your duty and had kept the foreign dangers away from our world. Your efforts have not gone unwarranted, but this is yet the time for us to celebrate. I have to ask you to venture into this unknown world along with our disciples, and make sure that everything will go as planned. Whatever happens, I know and trust that you would do your duties. And only you hold my complete confidence in regards to this situation."

Zhu Hongwu is truly an honorable man, and one that doesn't shy away from his duties and responsibilities. Thus, he had already expected such orders from his Sect Master and he had readily accepted such fate. "I, Hongwu accept this order; and I will do my utmost to not disappoint the confidence that you have in me, Sect Master." Zhu Hongwu replied as he bowed down his head.

"Very well! My mind is now at ease with your words, rest assured; we shall hold the fort from this side." Sect Master Griffith replied.

"That won't be necessary; I will lead them into the world beyond!" Sect Master Bai Lizi announced.
