Derek’s POV
“No, it must hurt badly.” Francis sighed while
Erika still looked calm.
I squeezed her hand to comfort her. She turned
around and smiled at me as if she was not worried at all.
After rolling on the ground for seconds, the fire
had been put out. Angel stood up and stumbled with dust all over her body. Her
right hand had turned dark. I had been through many fights. Seriously, I didn’t
know how one could defeat the enemy with the right hand injured severely.
The judge went over and asked her if she could
continue.
She nodded firmly, tore the right sleeve, and
bandaged her right hand roughly. She walked to the sword, kicked it up in the
air, and held it in her left hand. Wow.
Paul’s face changed. He must have thought that the
game would end soon. But it didn’t.
The audience was silent because everyone except
Erika was trying to figure out what had just happened.
