Chapter 19: I identify

It took this alien body and incredible mind along with the human size body created by the EM Mode only ten minutes to build the new watches, every one of them was black with the smart screen reflecting the light coming from the lamps on the roof.

Tom looked at the creations born from my hands, genius and essence with excitement, he came near and said: "Hehe, technology! I love it!" These words could not be more true.

I smiled with confidence and said while storing eight on a folder inside my old phone, i should change it since it has a cracked screen too: "Well, everything is possible with Grey Matter intellect, especially with the assistance of this miraculous energy."

The essence danced on my left palm with it's crystalline light blue color that seemed to illuminate even the darkest of places, while i moved my right hand holding the remaining two watches towards Tom, who understanding my gesture took one from the pair.

We then wore them in our respective wrists, and there is where i noticed that he placed his own on the right one: "I know that you're ambidextrous, but why the right?" I asked while turning my watch on.

He looked towards me and responded casually: "It does not really matter, i can always change it's place whenever i want." His words made sense, they are only watches after all.

I transformed back with a flash of light and looked at my left wrist where the two watches are, the Omnitrix and the E-Watch, the name that i gave this creation of mine, that stands for Essence Watch.

Simple.

The E Watch was near the Omnitrix giving me a weird vibe since it's weird to have two watches on the same arm, so i took the Omnitrix and removed it, storing it inside the folder for future use.

After that, i moved the E Watch down near my wrist, this was better and more pleasing to the eyes, i then looked at it's home page that featured a black background with some icons.

While building them i already explained their functions to Tom so he doesn't need to be told what to do a second time.

I clicked the icon with a black mask with a question mark on its face while the white background contrasted with the black one of the home page.

When i clicked it the icon increased in size untill it covered the whole screen and soon after an hologram appeared with various icons, in this page i can personalize the face or appearance i want to take, or i can just set a random appearance.

What it's interesting is that, if my calculations are correct, the essence absorbed by the micro core inside the watch, will cover the user body and change their appearance, and not even an essence technique will be able to see through.

This is not much useful to me since i can do it with my flexible essence but after talking with Tom and previously Omar, i discovered that the majority of awakeners don't have the ability to manipulate the essence at that level.

Or more precisely, they don't even have that function, it seems that my essence is adaptable in base at my imagination, and now that i think about it, I've always used it like some fictional characters.

From fiction to reality....hmm...

It seems that my ability is even more special than i thought, Tom clicked some things on his hologram and then his body got morphed into a different appearance.

He became bald!? His height was the same and then his face skin color became light black skinned while his eyes became light brown with his majestic black beard showing it's glory, why is he making himself more handsome?

After his transformation i looked at him with a side eye, he averted his eyes and feigned ignorance, this nigga is probably trying to pull women.

And looking at that handsome face this even more confirmed my guess: "You know that pulling women is not everything in life right?" My deadpan face came on his side while giving him a disapproving look.

He fake caughed and responded: "Well... I identify as an handsome light skinned man, and rich." His words echoed in the store soon followed by silence.

My eyes locked into his face while he was looking at the other side, i then shook my head and changed my appearance too, my height increased reaching 1,85 meters with my face becoming more angular and symmetrical, my eyes becoming full light blue.

I was handsome as fuck! Especially the newly acquired dreads that gave me a wild and cool ahh appearance, Tom looked at me while i turned away and walked out of the building.

He opened his mouth but then closed it, soon following me.

I identify as an handsome man too.

....And rich.

....

"Okay, we are here once again, are you ready?." Tom asked me while i nodded with a smile: "Yeah, let's see what this new world has to offer."

And with that we walked inside the sliding doors.

When we entered we spotted a normal reception with a woman behind the table, we walked towards her and she asked with a bored face and a tone that showed she had enough of this life.

Not even our handsomeness could impress her: "So, what do you want? Dear guests?" Her tone held no hospitality, Tom struggled while i frowned: "Is this how you treat your customers?"

I asked with fake displeasure while she gave me an uninterested look: "Do i look like i give a fuck?" She pointed at herself and then continued: "They don't pay me enough credits for this shit." Her face showed a trace of displeasure at the mention of credits.

"Hmm.." i scratched my full beard with satisfaction, yes i added this amazing part at my appearance, an handsome man needs a good beard.

I then said the code words: "Essence." At the mention of those words her uninterested face changed to a one of utter uninterest, she then pressed a button and the elevator at her left opened.

Se then took out her phone and opened Tik Tok, completely ignoring our presence, Tom looked at me and we then walked inside the elevator while it's doors closed.
