He stormed back over to Lorena's body and instantly fell to his knees. He picked her up into his arms and cried into her hair. I went to step forward and try to comfort him, but when he began talking to her, apologizing while sweeping her hair away from her face, I knew he needed time alone with her. I could hear Sam running through the woods and the last thing Draco needed was more onlookers. I turned around and said faintly,
“I really am sorry, Draco,” before sprinting off into the woods.
The tears readily rolled down my cheeks as I made my way towards Sam. I ran right into his arms and sobbed into his chest.
“What’s wrong, love? What’s happened?”
“Selene, she killed Lorena,” I spat out between sobs.
He stroked my hair while saying,
“It’s okay, Freya. We'll get through this.”
My eyes illuminated with anger and I instantly pushed him away.
