“You don’t remember anything from the last few weeks?” She asked with curiosity.
“Of course, I do. It’s been business as usual. Helping you run the faction since your dad died, and hunting down vampire and rogue scum,” I replied casually while picking up my fork and stabbing it into a piece of bacon. “Why would I forget the last few weeks? Has something happened?” I asked then shoved the entire strip of bacon into my mouth.
“No, nothing. Amelia has just been drinking a little too much lately and has been forgetting things. She wondered if others had the same, that’s all,” Evan jumped into the conversation.
“Well, that’s what happens when kids drink.”
