Freezing. (4/4)

"You will cease."

Kasra's eyes widened in surprise.

And his thoughts ran like a broken cassette stuck on repeat.

Switching rapidly between two questjons.

"How did she get behind me… without me noticing..?"

"How many Pandoras are ready to strike me..?"

Kasra knew that his ability couldn't hold all of them, and with no logical answer to escape the predicament readily available to him, Kasra shut his eyes. The flashing brightness of his eyes dimmed. Kasra released his Freezing, freeing the girl.

Immediately after, while sighing, he put his hands up.

"Alright, I get it. I get it. Do what you gotta do… you wont get any more trouble from me."

No more than after he finished talking, did he find himself lying on the concrete ground, face first; bounded, with his limbs restrained by multiple Pandoras.

Despite the discomfort from being in contact with Kasra, the lot concentrated as best as they could to hold him.

However, he became languid, saying:

"Haah… why did I have to come to this Academy… this seriously sucks…"

Before he knew it, his arms and legs were clasped together with leather straps.

His destination was the student council presidents office, to receive an answer.

The other girl who he casted Freezing on?

She was no longer a concern of his.

Kasra twitched, as he remembered what happened after that.

To him, she was the same as a hellspawn, just like the progeny of a demon.

When they threw him to just in front of her desk, the moment he looked up to see just what he had to contend with, is the point where things went wrong.

The memory of what happened herein had seared itself deeply into the deepest recesses of his mind.

He could feel it then… and sometimes can recall the feeling even now.

As his bright green eyes met hers, there was a strange shooting feeling through his spine.

Acceptance.

She was one, for whom his body was compatible with… she could keep up with him.

This feeling of belonging was drowned by the realization she was more than on-par with him, the president could probably shatter his Freezing without thinking about it.

She sat in the black leather seat at her desk, with her right leg crossing her left.

The beams of sunlight shooting in from the window behind her made it hard to see anything apart from her bright eyes and thick-framed glasses.

"You and I both feel it, but it's really a pity."

Kasra shifted on the floor, anticipating what she had to say.

She pressed her glasses back on her nose bridge.

"Thats because, unfortunately for you, I already have a limiter. He may not be as exceptional as you physiologically, but he's the one I chose."

Kasra shut his eyes, ending his remembrance of when he first got here, at that.

Kasra had one last thing to think about her.

[Anna Visurix, probably the only chance I'll ever have in my lifetime to find someone that wouldn't be repulsed by my touch - thank god she's graduated and gone.]
