Hik's Past.

On Leon's side.

Both Joppa and Leon were chipping against each other slowly. They both were short of breath but they still didn't lose focus of each other.

Joppa said while taking short breaths from time to time."Why don't we negotiate?"

Leon first looked at the battlefield situation and saw that it is extremely dire. Boa and others looked like they would get swarmed up any moment despite the bandits being less than forty.

Leon said with a funny smile."Do you feel like I would?"

Joppa said."Yes, why I was even trying to say that? Okay, brat this time you will surely die!"

Joppa rushed with a picked-up saber. Leon dodged it in a nick of time by sidestepping and he slashed his saber after that which broke his saber.

Leon retreated a little and launched with full force. Joppa didn't have time to evade and he didn't have a weapon up close so he raised his left arm to block.

Leon's sword got stuck in his arm. he was about to pull it back but he abandoned his sword instead. He climbed up Joppa and got behind his neck. He started choking Joppa's neck with both of his arms.

Joppa couldn't move his left arm after the got stuck, it made his arm numb with constant blood flowing out and his right arm was already gone.

Joppa could only shout back."What are you doing!? Let...me go!"

"Stupid, I am holding you to death." Leon laughed while gritting his teeth.

"What?"Joppa got confused.

"Kid, Thanks for holding him," Alpin's voice came from the side who was holding his sword high, the sword had a white substance filled with it. Alpin stood bravely with a bloody wound in his guts." [ Basic Sword Art - Halfmoon ] "

Alpin swung his sword at Joppa. As he made a full swing, a white substance shot out from it in a crescent moon shape.

This crescent moon draws a line on the ground by destroying it.

Joppa felt extreme fear seeing that thing coming toward him, he was feeling he would die. He shouted in panic."Let me go! Let me go! Please.."

"You should have thought about it when you did all those horrifying things." Leon didn't let go instead he exerted more force.

"Let me go! Please..." Joppa still begged him to let go.

"Okay, I will." Leon let him go but it was when Alpin's move was already close to them.

"You basta-" Joppa couldn't finish his sentence.

His body got sliced in half from up to down.

Thud

His sliced-up body fell with a horrified expression on it. Alpin's move didn't stop after killing Joppa. It went on and sliced two houses in half.

BOOM

Only after that, it stopped. Along with everyone on the battlefield. They all had a face that they have given up after seeing that move.

After seeing Joppa finally die, Leon sighed in relief.

"Brother!!! Help!!" Leon couldn't relax his muscle, he heard a shout that jolted him up.

Leon looked at the source of the voice and as he guessed it was Enayet's, who now was being held by Hik.

Leon stood up, took his sword out of Joppa's dead body, and rushed in Enayet's direction.

Alpin was already on the ground having a hard time breathing. 'No, not another one. Why are you giving up? my body. Stand up..stand up...damn it!!'

Hik holding his dagger at Enayet's neck who was crying and had a terrified face. Hik shouted at Rimo who was trying to approach him."Don't come near me! I might kill him."

Rimo halted his steps."Okay, okay I won't come just don't do anything to that little child."

Hik ordered."You have let me leave this village peacefully. You can't attack me anymore in or out of the village."

"Oka-" Rimo was about to agree with him suddenly a shout came.

"You let go of him." Leon came roaring.

Leon with absolute panic was about to jump into Hik, Rimo tackled him down in his path.

Rimo pinned down Leon to the ground and said."Hey, stop it. You rushing there won't help."

Leon, who was struggling hard, calmed down. He said to Rimo."What should we do then?"

"Just stay put first." Rimo let go of him and stood up.

Leon also stood up and said to Hik while holding back his anger and panic."I don't want anything, I want to know when will you leave Enayet?"

Hik said with anger."I didn't want to let this piece of shit go but I have no choice now, just to use this as an excuse for me to escape."

Leon said with annoyance."Why are blabbering useless stuff?"

"Nothing is useless. You see, I am super pissed now. Everything I have done and what I wanted to do is destroyed by you guys. Especially for this brat. I have been hiding for so long, doing so many things in the dark and I didn't get caught or had any trouble." Hik was laughing hysterically.

Hik looked down at Enayet and said with anger."Until I encountered this brat. I met with many kinds of problems after that. I did fulfill my dream now but It came with no joy. My mother got bullied by foreigners because of being beautiful and my father got killed for being weak. This village was a paradise and filled with good people I heard from them but."

Hik raised his head and had tears rolling down his eyes."They got abused and brutally killed by foreigners in front of the whole village. Nobody came forward to stop it, they were thinking of the well-being of their village at that time. From then on I decided to make them despair and destroy this village completely."

"You should have witnessed how they are in your own eyes, kid," Hik looked down at Enayet again who was shaking nonstop, Enayet wanted to say no but the moment he thought of how they were to him and on themselves so he could only remain silent. Hik looked at everyone that was watching him."This village was beautiful from the outside for its beauty and resources but it is rotten from the inside. So I did everything right killing almost everyone who lived here."

Lucas who arrived just now and his was silent.

Only Leon with a horrified face blurted out."Wha- What? What did you say? You killed all? everyone!?"
