Troy uhm can you remind me what we are doing here again? Alice asked looking at him squearly and applying a generous amount of hand cream .

Troy stared at the girl seated across him with a deep scrowl on his face, one of the personal problem he had with Alice was she was so full of herself she was very beautiful and unfortunately she knows it and equally knows the effects she has on the opposite sex. Today her outfit consisted of a two piece pant suit of purple, the blouse and skirt of the suit were very revealing in fact the blouse exposed a great amount of her cleaveage that dries Troy's mouth and makes him want to reap the tiny material off her .

Alice snapped a manicured finger across his glazed face, troy you didn't answer my question and now your mind is somewhere else wait who are you thinking about is a girl? She asked glaringly.

Whoah can you take a breath ? Alice I was thinking about you your little dress is distracting me he complained.

Alice relaxed visibly and purred at him.

You asked what we are doing here and no offense babe but that's a pretty dumb question, of course we are here for a date that's what couple do during weekends .

Oh Alice gently tugged at her ear rings it was a habit she normally does when she is unsure of something, the last time she checked they only went on dates and stuff like that when someone from school was watching or nearby or if Troy's team won at a game then she tags along with the rest of the team. This was the first time ever Troy was instigated a "date" by himself without being pushed into it by circumstances or people, but Alice didn't mention this fact to him and merely wondered if he was actually falling for her for real she felt elated at this thought and grinned widely.

You know we don't normally do this regularly so I was kinda surprised, but I wish you had informed me earlier I was supposed to get my printed invitation cards today she said with a cute pout .

Alice lowered her eyes at his words, it's the year I'm turning into a ful fledged adult of course I want it to be incredibly big and at the lips of everyone.

Alice thought she heard a hint of mockery in his tone but pushed the thought away , oh he hadn't asked her to a date because he missed her or cherished her company but for a hidden agenda, she swallowed the knot in her throat and muttered primly call the waiter over I want to eat now she ordered.

Troy montioned for a waiter and kachi reluctantly came over to their table to take their order, kachi had seen the couple when they had entered and had immediately recognized Alice as ayra's sister obviously the guy beside her was her fabled boyfriend and their relationship was one made and designed by the heavens just as everyone at school claimed.

Considering what transpired earlier between her and ayra, kachi desperately wanted to avoid the Thompsons unfortunately she worked here and didn't have the luxury to walk away when she pleased.

What would you like to have? Kachi questioned politely.

I want a chicken wrap with a soda please.

Babe you know I have a match coming up I want to be fit before the match and the junks you are ordering won't help one iota.

Alice glared at him like he had gone crazy, so what if he had a fucking match? She wasn't forcing him to have the same order with her he could easily order whatever he wanted why the heck does she get to stay on a diet with him. She opened her mouth to tell him a piece of her mind but on a second thought restrained herself from bluting out her feelings, they were in public and the waiter looked like ayra's classmate.

Mentally inhaling a deep breath, she flashed kachi one of her brilliant smile and said breezily we will like a salad with a diet soda thanks .

Thanks honey Troy muttered reaching out to caress her rosy checks but his hands were left hanging on the air because Alice moved her face away.

Nothing she replied immediately promising herself today was the last day he would make her do something she didn't want to do.

Their order arrived and kachi gently served the plates of salad to them, she was thinking her God in her mind that she was done with serving them but Alice words stooped her in her tracks as she made to walk away.

Wait a moment you are ayra's classmate right?

Kachi swallowed hard while turning towards her and nodding slowly, this wasn't gonna end well if ayra hated her that means Alice would dispise her as well.

How do you know her babe? Troy asked digging into his salad.

I really have to get back to work now kachi muttered anxiously , not wanting to hear her reply.

Wait!! she ordered kachi before replying Troy She is the only Nigerian - African girl in school of course I would know her, and I hear she is always representing her people isn't that cool Troy?

Kachi wanted to object that she wasn't a child but her mouth betrayed her and nothing came out of them, she couldn't believe that Alice of all people knew she existed she told herself not to feel flattered but her heart didn't listen.

Before you get back to work, I'm inviting you to my birthday party unfortunately am not with the customized card right now but once it's done, I would send you one because you can't gain entry without it thank you that would be all she finished off not giving her room to object and faced her salad.

Kachi opened her mouth to say something, then closed it back unable to utter a word she nodded and walked away like a zombie.

Alice what's the plan? Why did you invite her to the birthday she's not in any social clique and won't add any relevance to the party.
