CHAPTER 111

TWO WEEKS LATER.

The whole school was still in shock and buzzed of what had transpired in Alice's birthday party and people who couldn't make it to the party were told the tale countless times. They couldn't get over the fact that the power couple of the school, the most influential girl was getting cheated on by her boyfriend with her best friend can the story get any more jucier? They thought to themselves squealing and wishpering of all kinds of things alice would do to troy.

The only people who didn't find the whole episode fun at all were ayra's friends, Ella was so vexed on behalf of alice that she felt like giving Troy a hard kick on his groins and to think she had been wishing for someone like Troy as a boyfriend,while kachi merely pondered on the wickedness of the male species.

Coincidently alice has missed school same with Troy and prisca but for different reasons, Catherine had made alice to stay back at home to avoid stress just like the doctor advised while Troy and prisca had merely missed school in hopes for things to die down also prisca had been receiving threats from Alice's fan base and girls in school generally , she had been called all sort of mean names in her DM even sasha was ignoring her .

Alice walked into the hallway and as usual all eyes glued to her apart from the fact that she hadn't been in school for a while people were also curious to find out how she's faring after the news of her boyfriends infidelity spread the whole school like a wild fire. She looked her normal beautiful self as usual even fiercer they observed, somehow everyone of them had wished even expected a little bit of drama from alice but unfortunately no one can thwart the ice queen after all. The only different thing about alice that day was instead of being flanked at both sides by her best friend she was in the arms of no one else but ayra her sister who held tightly to her arms .

" Keep up ayra your steps are too slow " Alice murmured .

" I'm trying tsk how do you even handle all these stares from people, I feel like hiding somewhere " .

Alice giggled but quickly retained her mean expression she had resolved not to laugh unnecessarily but ayra was already breaking her resolve she thought warily .

" I'm used to the stares already just pretend they ain't looking at you and you will be fine but where is Ella? You can leave me here anyways , you don't have to walk m-" .

" No Alice I'm sticking with you " She replied stubbornly.

" But I'm fine ayra really, cross my heart " .

" I know and this isn't about your health issues i just want to walk with my sister for once in forever uninterruptedor is there something wrong with that? " .

Alice didn't have a reply for that and swallowed the lump in her throat and ayra continued her chatter " You know don't get me wrong but some how I'm glad your friend betrayed you because now I get to walk with you and speaking of friends where is Sasha? Isn't she supposed to be with you at these trying times? " She questioned with disdain.

Alice exhaled a deep breath secretly enjoying her sister chatter and company

" You really don't like my friends do you? "

" Not one bit and now look I was right about them " .

" Actually, Sasha called me yesterday night and she was sorry on behalf of you know who " .

Ayra wanted to comment that this was the first time Alice was willingly telling her stuff but thought better of it " As it should, hope you ain't thinking about letting her back in your life? I know she didn't do nothing but seriously alice I think you need a break from all your old friends, their presence is suffocating and unhealthy did you know for a moment during the party I felt like yelling at them all to shut the fuck up " Ayra declared which earned her another laugh from alice

" Christ you really have the alice flare in you but I'm not even thinking about any of them so... " .

" Good c'mon I will take you to class then head of to mine " She said as though talking to her child.

" No no ayra you don't have to escort me to my class " .

" Why? But I really want to " She added with a hurt expression.

Alice swore beneath her breath " How was she supposed to tell ayra that she had to visit the ladies before class everyday in order to have the ability to survive the day? "

" I'm telling you you don't have to tsk where is your boyfriend I have not seen him? "

" Using Jack to lure me away won't work Alice, I really want to be with you or don't you like my company? Maybe I'm talking too much or -" .

" No ayra.... Tsk alright but I have to go to the ladies first " She conceded wondering how she would talk to herself in front of ayra.

" Perfect " Ayra grinned genuinely happy

" Thank you for allowing me to be your escort for the day " She said in a historic male voice.

" Silly child -" Before Alice could complete her sentence a pair of hands reached for her but she was quick to move away.

" Alice!! Alice please hear me out please " Troy pleaded looking like a junkie. He hasn't been himself since after her birthday party,everyone literally looked at him as though he was the one that nailed Christ on the cross he knew he messed up big time and wanted to make amend.

Alice 's eyes thinned in controlled fury " I never want to see nor speak with you, move away you are in my way jerk " .

" Ali please don't do this to us please we can start all over, I - I love you Alice " .

" Oh really unfortunately I don't feel the same way in fact I like another person and thank you for cheating you made me realize I deserved better " .

Ayra was besides her boiling in anger for the life of hers she couldn't understand the reason Alice was speaking to him calmly, what if he convinced her to take him back? No she wouldn't allow that to happen she told herself.

" I don't believe you Alice you are merely saying that because you are hurting but it's not my fault truly believe me, I would move the mountains for you " .

" Really? Then whose fault is it? Oh perhaps it's mine right? " .

" No it's prisca 's fault she seduced me and all " He said trying to hold her hands but she moved back again.

" Tsk tsk you're such a disgrace to the male species " .

" Alice please let's go I don't even know why you're still giving him another moment of your life, he is not worth it honestly" Ayra muttered looking disgustedly at Troy who scowled back at her.

" Hey mind your business nerd "

" Well my sister's business is my business " She retorted hotly to him.

" Alice send your sister away now " He ordered wondering why Alice allowed ayra to talk back at him.

In response Alice gave him a dirty slap amidst cheers that was when she realized people were gathered around them " Now this is the last time my hands will touch you and the next time you disrespect my sister by calling her a nerd you would get more than you bargained for " She added hotly

Troy held his hands to his throbbing checks too shocked to reply.

" I have let you control my life enough but not anymore read my lips stay far away from me or I will get a restraining order, it's over between us and I'm never taking your silly ass back!!! . Ayra let's go " The small crowd made a pathway for them as they booed and laughed at Troy who was still at the position she had left him.
