23 A Hug

Enzo was in a meeting when his phone rang, he frowned seeing who it was. Max had never called him during office hours. He knew it was about Bella.

Getting up he excused himself and walked out with the phone.

"Talk, what's wrong with her," he asked.

"We don't know, but she has locked herself up in the washrooms " Max reported.

The call got disconnected and Max sighed walking back to the washroom. Her secretary returned, "I can't find them and the janitor who has the other copies is nowhere to be seen ".

"Then find him now " yelled Max and went back to knocking on the door.

They heard something loud above, "Now what is that?" Max muttered.

"Boss, someone is landing a helicopter on the building " she heard one of the workers say.

Max scoffed, "That crazy bastard "

Seconds later the elevator door opened and Enzo walked out. Everyone seemed to freeze upon seeing him walk into the hallway and make way for him, only Max rolled her eyes.
