Bella woke up to the sound of thunder, it was raining heavily and she was alone in bed.

The door to her room was slightly open and his voice in the hallway was heard. She walked out headed to where he was.
His back was turning to her, his head held up as he gazed out of the wide window. He was talking to someone on the phone.

He turned to see her, both standing in the darkness of the night, with the sound of the rain outside. Lightening sounded and Bella forced when her eyes saw his face in the flash.
