Sarah's father was Colonel Benedict Hansen, the supply officer for UNPREDET in the Northbury region, a special region in former area of Maine and Quebec. Well, to be precise, an exclusion zone created during the First Human-Menkaid War.

It became a scavenger heaven after the bombing, but the rising of the remnants from the Menkaid army forced the United Nation to establish a special security zone to maintain security.

Two years ago, Hansen was deployed to the Northbury region as a special peacekeeping officer. The UN established an outpost in Saint-Martin, Quebec to establish security in the entire region. They built a mini-fortress there.
