There was still no sign of Lyle. At this point, Bell would have returned to Lyle's home if she was already at the gate. The school was still alive, since several clubs were still doing their activities. Helen had returned back to the school from the bookstore to work on the library alongside the other members of the literary club.
Bell thought once to join their club, particularly because Bell's official designation of her unit was the archive. She could help the club to organize the library with the best of her ability as a military personnel working at the archive.
"You got to look at the bitch's face, see how she couldn't say a thing."
