Nangong Ah Jin wondered if his charm in interacting with people and convincing them to do his bidding has lost then why was he facing the entire problematic situations one after the other in just past one day?

"Little fox I am searching for Nangong Bai Yu because of an important matter. Now tell me why you are also interested in his whereabouts?" he asked Long Lei.

He was interested to know more about her but her keen interest in knowing about Nangong Bai Yu was really more than curiosity. Does she know about him?

"Tell me more. I know that you are searching for him. Meng Zhang already told me about this so tell me something that I don't know yet."

Long Lei asked him seriously. She was not going to be swayed by his sweet beautiful face. This was really worse for her why did he have this beautiful face like that of a bright moon?

She was really envious of his beauty.

Nangong Ah Jin glanced at the dragon nearby who was trying to hide his presence. His master was really cunning to throw him in this pit of fire.

He could feel his lordship's fury from the distance between them.

"Master, I didn't say anything. How could I even know about his Lordship's agenda?" he tried to deflect his fault at his master. "You were also here for that man. How would I know that you both were here for the same man?"

Nangong Ah Jin frowned. She was here for that man; does that mean she was already familiar with him?

"You are acquainted with Nangong Bai Yu." He raised his voice.

Long Lei wanted to hit her contractual beast hard. How can he do this to her – his master? She was just trying to get some information about her godfather just because she was suspicious that both the people- her godfather and the man this bastard was searching for were the same people. This doesn't prove anything about her knowing about Nangong Bai Yu, this dragon was clearly slandering her.

"What? No! How would I know him? This stupid dragon is lying. Am I this kind of a person? I was just curious." She sweetly told him.

She wanted to divert his attention from her so she started using Meng Zhang as bait to lure him.

"He was the one! He told me that you were searching for a man named Bai Yu. Then I remembered you both were fighting so I casually said that he must know about the man you are searching for otherwise why he was preventing you to take that soul flute or whatever?" Long Lei continued to tarnish his reputation in full mode.

"He must be in cahoots with that man. I was just curious why a powerful genius like you was busy battering the weak pathetic dragon so I asked him. I really wanted to know the reason for your fight."

Nangong Ah Jin listened and gave it a thought and assumes that she was telling him the truth. This overly stupid dragon must have done something while he was unconscious otherwise his little fox could not possibly know about that man.

It was impossible after all he was searching about that uncle of his for so many years and just recently got a clue that he was hiding in the jianghu region so this was entirely a coincidence. Yes! It must be a coincidence.

"No! No! Sire, don't listen to her nonsense. Little girl! Stop slandering me."

Meng Zhang pleaded secretly but Long Lei was completely ignoring him after the stunt he pulled.

Long Lei pitifully gazed at Nanhgong Ah Jin, "Big Brother! See this! He is still defaming me."

Nangong Ah Jin was now convinced that this little girl was telling him the truth and as for the stupid dragon, he will teach him a lesson after he will find Nangong Bai Yu.

"Sire! Please listen to me." The azure dragon pleaded.

"WU…WU…WU…this stinky dragon is bad. He is lying." Long Lei wailed loudly after she saw that her beast was not acting according to her plan.

Nangong Ah Jin turned towards her and glared at the dragon to get lost from there so that his little fox will cease her crying.

All these emotions were a bit hard for him to control.

"Lei'er hush! Don't cry. I believe you." He consoled her.

Meng Zhang was speechless after this sudden change in his lordship. His new master was really amazing to even control this powerful man.

[What are you dilly-dallying for? Get lost! I want to get some information from him. Go and wait for me at the outer perimeter of the forest near the Jianghu region.]

Meng Zhang heard Long Lei's words and agreed to follow her plan otherwise he will lose all his worldviews in a single day.

Long Lei calmed herself after Meng Zhang left their vicinity.

Nangong Ah Jin felt weird in his heart after watching her pitiful appearance; he wanted to hold her and make her happy. He didn't like her sad face.

"Lei'er it's nothing. He is my royal uncle and I want to find him because of a matter regarding Holy Kunlun Sect. There are some problems and he is the only one who can help in that matter."

Long Lei was stunned after hearing this because as far as she knows her godfather never mentioned anything about him being a royalty. Although she could feel that he was powerful and was not scared by another sect nor some experts in this continent but he tends to hide his background and true power.

Was he a royalty?

Were he and this Nangong Bai Yu same person playing different characters?
