Dark Forest [1]

Long Lei was confirmed now. This man was thinking exactly like her. But why is he so interested in my godfather?

She tried focusing some more but there was no sound coming from the room.

But a loud ruckus was created in the main auction hall. The second prince and some more young people were engaged in fighting. Long Lei rolled her eyes at him.

A gust of wind passed by her room when she was busy observing the fight.

It was that lazy highness, where is he going?

She decided to follow after him but she lost him after coming outside.

How strong is he dammit?

After these two years I am still not powerful enough to track him back.

She decided to go home and inform her godfather about this new development but then she noticed a footprint going towards south direction.

It leads to dark forest also known as the forbidden forest.

She used her space light steps to trace that man. She was sure that he was the one who went in this direction. Within few minutes she reached the perimeter of the forest.

The entire area was still like there was no movement at all. It was untouched but it could not fool Long Lei. She knew he went past this place but where was the main question.

This deadly forest has many treasures and people dying here are more than few. Why would a powerful expert go inside this place?

She concentrated around her surrounding and felt something going towards the center of dark forest at a rapid speed.

At this time why would someone go towards the center?

Long Lei remembered something her godfather said about pale moon night. She looked at the sky and noticed the moon had a different allure tonight.

Oh no today is pale moon night. It means that secret door will open today. Only few people knew about this so why was this bastard going this way?

He keeps on searching about godfather that means he is connected to him somehow. So he must know about this. Godfather had instructed her to go there if he was in seclusion.

How could she forget about this important thing?

She sprinted towards the centre in her full speed. In this dark night the trees were denser and beast with the seventh level and above kept on coming in her way but it didn't stop her from her target.

She defeated all of them and then used her Space Light Dance again to reach there as it was being too troublesome.

Long Lei could see traces of fight and group of ninth level panther lying dead on the ground. They were killed in a clean shot. The space between their eyebrows was pierced. This was the simple yet most dangerous method to kill all nine level beasts.

"What a waste? Whoever killed them didn't even take their beast cores. It is good for me I should keep this war spoils for myself after all it can help me in many things."

Long Lei decided to collect them in her space ring just like all the beasts she had killed a while before. She will extract all the important things after coming out of this mysterious place.

As she started to go inside she saw a man wearing a silver mask or was that diamond and a huge dragon fighting with each other.

But contrary to her belief the human was more skilled than this beast.

The aura leaking around was so dense that she was not able to go near them. Behind them was a field of heaven grass which has a pond in its centre.

It looks like the dragon flower is about to bloom. Godfather had told her it will bloom as soon as the first rays of sunlight hit its leaves.

"What a bad situation? This dragon must be the watchman of the dragon flower." Long Lei murmured silently.

Although the man and beast sensed her presence but they still choose to ignore her. It was completely fine with Long Lei.

She was praying that the dragon can kill this man so that she will easily take the dragon flower away but her hopes were crushing as the dragon was not able to compete with this punny sized man.

"What are you doing huge dragon? How can you lose to this bean like human? Squish him to death" long Lei shouted.

She wanted to cheer that stupid dragon so that he will defeat this man soon but again to her disbelief both of them stopped fighting and were giving her incredulous look.

Long Lei felt awkward for the first time coming in this world. "What? How can you be a holy beast? You can't even fight a human. Shame on you." Long Lei huffed in anger but still the both figure were maintaining their static position and were more interested to see her.

By now she was so angry that she wanted to tear their hairs apart. " And you …" Long Lei pointed towards the masked man "How could you be so cruel as to hurt him? You are clearly more powerful so why are you not lowering your cultivation down and hitting the dumb beast?" she questioned righteously.

But her silly question shocked both the man and beast so much that they fainted from it. Long Lei was speechless to see both of them falling down and at the same time too.

"WOW! I am so cool. People are fainting just from my words. I don't even need martial arts to defeat people. This dumb beast is really too silly. Should I contact with him?" Long Lei pondered about her thought but then she saw the dragon flower blooming and a purple mist covering the surrounding slowly.

She jumped and used her Space Light steps and plucked the dragon flower but before she could leave her eyes caught a flute in the pond. It was a jade flute but was very attractive. She picked it up too and wanted to go back but then she too lost consciousness.
