Hicks starts feeling a something poking his face.

(Hicks)

"What's poking me?"

(Argent)

"Someone's probably messing with your body"

(Hicks)

"AAH WHAT THE HELL"

Hicks wakes up with his face on the table and Li Na poking his cheek

He sits up and turns red from embarrassment

(Hicks)

"What are you doing Sister Li Na? Do you need something"

(Li Na)

"Sorry, I happened to passby and saw you. I want to let you know that the grandmaster has taken an interest in you and will be observing you today. You should put on a good show."

Li Na leaves, as she walks away her face turns red

(Li Na)

*I was going to ask him if I could hang out with him today, but Grandmaster will be watching him*

(Hicks)

*Her voice seemed kinda shaky and her face was slightly red. Is she sick, she should take care of herself*

(Argent)

"You're embarrassingly oblivious"

(Hicks)

*Of what?*

Hicks leaves the library and goes home and starts dusting his room

(Argent)

"Do you not remember what Li Na told you? The Grandmaster will be watching you today!"

(Hicks)

"Oh you're right!!! Maybe I should go kill a demon beast in-front of him!"

Hicks starts running to the border

(Hicks)

*Im pretty sure he wont do anything if I cross right?"

Hicks jumps over the border and starts looking for a demon beast. After just two minutes he finds a demon beast.

(Hicks)

"A Silver Back Ape!! I've never seen one before. It is way too strong for me so I'm going to avoid it"

As Hicks starts to move away he accidentally steps on a stick. It makes a cracking sound which make the Silver Back Ape look directly at Hicks

(Hicks)

"Oh you've got to be sh*ting me!!"

The Ape starts charging towards Hicks on all fours. It's huge and quick, Hicks tries to dodge it but the Ape swiftly changes direction and continues its charge at Hicks

The Ape rams into Hicks throwing him across the floor

(Hicks)

"Agh damn, it hurts way more than I thought. I might have to lose control to kill it"

(Argent)

"Don't you dare, you're gonna kill yourself if you do. Last time you lost control I didn't tell you that your heart stopped"

Hicks gets up off the floor but is immediately punched by the ape once again sending him flying into a tree. He falls onto the floor and feels intense pain on his back

(Argent)

"Your Back is filled with large splinters"

(Hicks)

"For it's huge size, it's way to fast! I can't even prepare a skill yet, and even if I have a skill ready it probably won't do anything"

The Ape looks at Hicks and almost has a smug confident look on it.

Hicks runs towards the ape and prepares a fist an electric aura surrounds his fist

(Hicks)

"Lightning Dragon Fist!!"

He is about to punch it when the ape grabs his arm and starts slamming him on the floor. He gets slammed several times before the ape tosses him away.

(Hicks)

"I'm gonna kill this damn monkey!!!"

(Argent)

"Your right arm is broken and your left shoulder is dislocate, you can't do much right now"

Hicks gets up and puts out an arm. A Dark Red Aura surrounds his hand. A red magic circle appears on his hand. Then suddenly the ground around him starts cracking and leaves start to light of fire. The aura on his hand is creating immense heat and pressure affecting everything around him.

The ape just stares at him looking at Hicks like he is a weakling.

(Hicks)

"GOD DRAGON'S FLAME!!!!!"

Fire comes out of the magic circle and shoots towards the ape. It isn't normal fire but a deep Dark Red fire, the color of blood. Before the ape realizes it's in trouble it is too late. The fire incinerates the ape leaving nothing left of it. There is burned ground created from the flames.

(Hicks)

"What the hell did I just do"

(Argent)

"Your exhausted you should sit down"

*A magic circle appeared, that means he is using a Dragon God's power! That's impossible for a mortal. Maybe he was already lucky before I came along*

Hicks just collapses on the floor and just lies there fully conscious. Someone comes down from a tree and approaches Hicks.

(Argent)

"It's your lucky day, he's finally making a move"

Hicks tried to look up and barely catches a glimpse as to who it is

(Zhang Daoling)

"Boy if I wasn't here you would be dead"

(Hicks)

"Looks like I can get some rest"

Hicks passes out, Zhang Daoling smiles and grabs Hicks by the collar and starts dragging him back to the Pavilion. Being dragged is hurt but after all Hicks has been through, this is nothing.

Hicks awakens to find himself in his Shack. Zhang Daoling is in a chair next to him meditating. Hicks lays back down and goes to the void

(Hicks)

"How strong am I now, you said you increase my cultivation whenever I am unconscious."

(Argent)

"I'm glad you remember that, you've come pretty far and you are at the Peak of Qi-Foundation"

(Hicks)

"I've become so strong in such a short whi-"

(Argent)

"But you've hit a roadblock and you're cultivation won't increase"

(Hicks)

"WHAT!!!! WHY!!!!"

(Argent)

"I can't tell you why because it might affect your thinking, it's an easy fix. All you need is 20 ounces of ground 2 month old lotus and one 5 year old ginseng"

(Hicks)

"ARE YOU CRAZY!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE GINSENG IS!!!!!!"

(Argent)

"Meh, just go challenge some disciples and take their spirit coins. If they have the pride they won't decline"

Hicks gets out of the void and sees that Zhang Daoling is gone

(Hicks)

*How long have I been out*

(Argent)

"Three days"

(Hicks)

"Dang it, I haven't been attending education class so that means my grades have plummeted"

(Argent)

"Don't worry, with me you have photographic memory. It's fine"

Hicks leaves his house and goes to a nearby pond

(Hicks)

"Nobody comes to this lake so it is a convenient place to bathe"

Hicks strips down and goes into the Lake

Li Na is hiding in a tree

(Li Na)

"My for a young man he is strapping"

Li Na stays hidden in the trees watching him. As she looks at him she notices many small scars on him. In total she sees 7 small ones and 2 large ones

(Argent)

"Li Na is watching you, you should expose her"

(Hicks)

*It would be fun*

Hicks gets out of the Lake and puts his clothes on

(Hicks)

"But I won't, I should focus on obtaining those herbs so I can further my cultivation"

Hicks leaves and heads to the Main Hall of the Pavilion
