Minerva POV

A teacher rush in and came to my classroom and handed me a phone, it was the principal's phone, which is weird since the principal is currently in a meeting, his phone should have been on silent, I then see the name on it, 'Arthur', and there's only one person to whom that person can be referred in this context.

Maybe he put a special feature that the Phoenix Academy's principal will vibrate instead. But I received it and went into the halls.

"Hello, sir." I greeted.

"Would you mind traveling to our school for a bit? You're not far, I've already helped inform the front desk for an excused absence, it seems that your father and our Perseus are in a bit of a quarrel."

"May I ask before I go, is anyone hurt?"

"No, it's surprising, there are a few light property damages here and there, but it's surprisingly low, uncomfortably so, Perseus is fast enough to dodge and strong enough to deflect all of your father's spells."

"Alright, sir, I'll be on my way."

"I have an important question before you come here, make sure you're alone first."

I then look around but sure enough, I'm alone, but I moved to a more quiet spot in the hallway anyway just to follow the request, if that principal wants me to be alone, it's probably important.

"I'm alone now sir, but I'd say that we have another 3 minutes at most unless I rush to the student council office."

"No, that's fine." he chuckled on the other side "I have just a few questions. First, do you know of Perseus' talents?"

"...Yes, sir."

"Since when?"

"I can't tell you the exact time, but it was around the time we got really close, I found it out by accident."

I lied, I should be a role model student, but I know what I was getting into when I decided to befriend him, things like this almost come naturally to me now, but the best lies are always mixed with half-truths, so I'll have to mix some in, he already gave me permission about such things.

"I see." he responded with a somewhat mused tone "You're allowed to dismiss or pass on a question if you wish, the next would be whether you know if he's a part of the Magic Salvation Syndicate."

"Well...

"Don't worry, even if he is, I'll be sure to use all my authority and influence to help make sure he stays away from any trouble or lawsuits, I'll give you my word, but knowing the truth will help make my job easier." he reassured me

"He has made contact with them before."

"Oh?"

"I don't know who or how it went exactly, but I'm more than sure that he told me the truth when I asked him the same question, I was also suspicious."

"Is it alright to give me a bit more details?"

"Well, he isn't a part of the syndicate, but he did say that he was recruited."

"Recruited for what role and purpose?"

"Something about being a role model for their younger members, it's to...well, in his words, 'just to prove the UPF wrong'."

"I see, so he claims to only be approached by them, do you think he's willing to reveal who that recruiter is?"

"I don't think so, he doesn't necessarily believe every one of the UPF's laws, since after all, well I only learned of his older brother recently, but during our call, he did say that the UPF allegedly dismissed his brother's first initial call for help.

"So he had to call his guild who then convinced the UPF's authority to finally take action, but it was too late."

"I've read the reports, the term 'allegedly' does not need to be used, it was true, his old town was destroyed by an angel general." he confirmed "And the UPF...well, you can ask Clyde for more detail, I don't blame him for the distrust, at least he came under our supervision now, I'll be sure to improve his skills and help him lean into forgiveness."

After learning about his brother, I've learned quite a few more of his secrets, he is very displeased with the UPF's ways, though he doesn't necessarily need them and does think that they're effective, but...well, after a few more questions, I gave him my farewell and made my way to Phoenix Academy.

Shawn POV

Currently, Perseus is being summoned into the principal's office for today's incident, and I'm allowed to come with him, so I did. I've learned that Professor Everett isn't all too pleased with the fact that his daughter is dating my brother.

He was supposed to do this hide-and-seek game during our training program, but he saw an early chance and took it apparently the principal did half expect an outcome of Professor Everett attacking him, but he was busy lately and didn't know that Professor Everett was the one who took today's role as the teacher to monitor Perseus.

And with no one to stop him, my brother was chased all around the school, the prof has to be restrained as we waited for his daughter to arrive and she was really quick as she got on the scene and talked enough sense into him and calmed him down enough to no longer need the restraints.

Minerva then handed a name card to the principal.

"That's my mother's number, call her if you want him to calm down, she may not be a witch, but her fury will kill any man with her glare alone." she said

"Thank you." the principal replied "Just before we can go into anymore details, be assured that I will not be expelling nor firing anyone here today."

We barely started school and we have already gotten into trouble, just how will I tell Dad tonight...not that it's his fault.

"Sterling said that he reserved a discussion room in the library, you can find him there after this." I whispered and received a nod.
