After the ants below devoured the bodies of their fallen comrades, they began emerging from the rear, showing their heads in the pit.
Amalia, having regained some of her spiritual energy, wielded her sword and struck them without hesitation.
The sword struck the heads of two Bronze Formanterror, causing blue blood to splatter.
Adjudant Calderón, who had been worried they might not be able to handle so many Bronze Formanterror, was instantly encouraged by this sight.
He realized they could defend the pit.
By guarding it and striking down any Bronze Formanterror that emerged, they could manage the situation.
Amalia told him, "Adjudant Calderón, take several squads outside to prevent the ants from attacking from other locations. Leave a few people with me to guard this area."
"Right, we can't afford to overlook other areas," Adjudant Calderón agreed, grateful for her guidance.
