Incident (Part 1)
Jirandai Tang glanced at Amalia and Kenny Lin, his gaze flickering with complex emotions.
Although this simplified Heavenfall Annihilation Formation relied on the efforts of everyone positioned at the formation points to function, the original array wasn't designed to be powered by cultivators.
Amalia herself hadn't been entirely sure of its success. She had tried with only a thirty percent certainty, so even she was surprised it worked.
"Everyone, stay alert! The most challenging moment is coming," Amalia warned through a voice transmission as she caught sight of the dozen Body Integration stage wandering spirits rapidly closing in on them.
Her words had barely settled when waves of dark energy surged toward them, crashing directly against the Heavenfall Annihilation Formation.
A violent shock rippled through the array, flipping it over midair. Unexpectedly, the impact pushed them further forward, allowing them to enter the plaza.
