Haruki, age 5, date : xx . x. xxxx

In a forest, lays a boy on the ground. A rustling sound echoes in the hollow forest, a warm sunlight felt on his face, the boy's eyelashes flutter revealing silver-grey eyes. The boy wakes up from his deep slumber.

He places his hand on his mouth to prevent a yawn from escaping. The silver eyed boy gets up and walks towards the hollow forest, unaware of his surroundings.

Soon he stops on his tracks, hears a weeping noise resounding through the area. It was slowly becoming hoarse. A shiver was sent down his spine in response to the sound, his instincts telling him to run – but he can't, he feels like his energy has been drained.

He somehow musters up the energy to escape but it doesn't last long. His body goes numb as he falls on his knees, his throat dry and his heartbeat rapid.

'I need to run away!' he thought, but he suddenly felt lightheaded and faint. His body now lays motionless on the ground.

The unconscious boy suddenly flinched at the loud noise that rang in his ear. A groan escaped his mouth as he opened his eyes, his vision still blurry and his body feeling as though it was squished by a ton of bricks. His silver eyes shone a little as he sluggishly got up and tried to comprehend what happened to him. He sat up and leaned against a nearby tree.

His head throbbed in pain as a wave of nausea washed over him. He felt like passing out again, his consciousness was fading, but he gritted his teeth, letting out a short grunt. He slowly laid his head against the tree trunk and took a deep breath.

He felt terrible. His emotions were in a mess and his head hurt so much, it was agonizing.

After a while, he regained some of his strength but he still had a slight headache. He began to wonder, what was that weeping noise he had heard? Why couldn't he run away? Did he faint because fear took over him? Questions spiralled in his mind.

He shook his head, pushing the questions to the back of his mind and began to focus on the current situation he's in. The silver eyed boy recollects himself and calm down, remembered last night what led him into middle of the forest

-A few hours ago-

A tall, slim figure stood there facing a raven haired boy. The figure had no mouth and its eyes bled, shedding crimson blood. The boy's head hung low, he was drenched in sweat, and his body trembled in fear.

The figure's hand moves towards his face causing the boy's eyes to widen. The boy hyperventilated, taking a step back away from the creature. As he was backing away, the boy slipped and fell on his back. His mind clouded in fear, the boy's body move on it's own to ran away.

He ran as fast as he could, his lung gasped for air and his body started to feel heavy. The Raven haired boy, stopped running and calmed himself down. He looked at his surrounding, realized that he was in a forest.

Not knowing where exactly he was and how to get out, he found himself a safe spot and slept there. His body was tired with all the running away and he was sleepy.

-back to present -

The boy jerked up, his eyes widened and his face turned pale as he suddenly recalled. "Oh no! Dad must be searching for me!" In a panicked state, the boy had long forgotten the pain and what had happened to him previously as he quickly got up before walking out of the forest.

Once he arrived, His whole body was drenched in sweat from the running; every muscle on his body was contracted. He panted heavily as he bends down a little.

"I'm *huff* back..." The boy said as he let out a relieved sigh.

The boy walked into the house carefully; try to not wake up his father. He walks towards his room, he took a deep breath and gets in his room. He looked around, the creature the he met last night was nowhere to be found. He felt relieve when there was no creature lurking in his room.

Haruki took a shower and get ready for school as always.

Wearing his school shirt and shorts, he quirked up a small smile. He felt happy that he wore them without any help and wore it perfectly ( according to him)

His father, Takeru look at him but then turns away, walk to the kitchen and started to make breakfast. Haruki didn't say anything and open the fridge and poured some orange juice into the glasses for him and his father. As his his father finished make an omelette, he put it on the dining table.

Haruki sat on the chair and scarfed down the food. He then stop for a while, gulping the food and told his father what had happened to him.

" Dad, I saw a scary black thing last night. There was blood on his eyes so I ran out of the house and then I got lost into the forest! Sorry for running away. It was really scary! And- and then when I wake to go back home I heard this really creepy noise so I tried to run but then I feel sleepy and everything was black! After that I woke up tired and then I ran back home. " He said with a bit of guilt.

His father nodded as a sign that he heard what Haruki had told him. " If there's any scary figure just come into my room, the door is always open for you" His father said as he finished his food and drank the juice.

Haruki felt a bubbly feeling in his stomach and warm on his cheeks, he smiled and said "Ok!"

After finishing their breakfast, Haruki stood at the doorway, waiting for his father to accompany him to the school.

The cold breeze washed up his face as Haruki walked into the classroom. He stood in front of the door, his body frozen because of the overwhelming pressure. The room was filled with kids and a few teachers talking with each other.

One of the teacher noticed so she greeted him. " Good morning, Haruki" A tall, brunette woman said as she eyed at the boy with a smile plastered on her face.

Haruki clutched his shirt and fidgeted his hands. A slight blush crept onto his cheeks. " G- good morning, t- teacher" Haruki stuttered.

"Go and take your seat, the class will start soon." The teacher told him. Haruki nodded and quickly went to his seat.

Soon, the homeroom teacher came, everybody stood and greeted the Homeroom teacher. The teacher took their attendance and proceed to their lessons.

"Alright class, today we will learn... " The teacher began their lessons.

The sound of a bell, echoes in the classroom. Haruki tilted his head to his side to find where did the sound came from. He looked under his table but there was nothing under it. Haruki was confused, where did the bell sound came from?

He shrugged and continue to listen to his teacher thinking that it was nothing.

A pair of viridian cat like eyes watched him with an amused smile. "We shall meet soon, master" The unknown person says as they slowly disappear through the shadow.
