19 Jealousy

It was only two days until the festival, but Uraraka didn't know if she would be able to put on her best performance. She spent most of her time in her room when she found Deku's social media and saw the picture of him and Toga cooking.

"They look so happy." She felt bittersweet when she saw that picture, almost on the verge of tears.

Mina and Tsu all sat around her on the floor for moral support.

"I'm sure this will all pass by and the sun will shine again, don't worry!" Mina made an attempt to cheer Uraraka up, but it wasn't enough.

"Yeah, I think you should avoid his social media page for now, Ochako." Tsuyu added on to what Mina was saying, giving her genuine advice that would help her case. A warm but painful smile came from Uraraka, until she looked back down at her phone again.

Just as she was about to scroll even further through is page, she received a call. Uraraka was shocked when she saw that it was from Deku, almost dropping her phone, but instantly answered when she could.

"I-It's Deku!" When she revealed who was calling her, Mina and Tsu shuffled closer to her to hear the conversation better, "H-Hello?" She stuttered as she spoke as she impatiently waited for a response.

"Name a moment when I said I hated you." Deku sat next to Toga, who was eating ice cream, both being high on top of a tall building. The sun was almost about to duck behind the other buildings as the orange sky was slowly turning dark.

"Huh?" Uraraka was confused, but tried to get her answer out, "U-uh, you don't hate me?" Her heart was starting to pound as she waited for Deku's reply.

"I don't, and I'm sorry about what I said to you when you came over to my house." Deku was genuinely sorry, and he made a promise to himself that he wouldn't put on any more facades and pretend to be someone else.

"Really!? You don't hate me!?" Uraraka got excited, whilst Mina started to celebrate.

"Really. And tell Bakugo that I accept his apology, and that I wish him the best of luck at the sports festival." Deku's voice sounded sad, but Toga knew she didn't have to do anything to comfort him as she ate her ice cream like a child.

"Don't you mean Kacchan?" Uraraka seemed like she needed to hear Deku say that name for her own reasons, and made an attempt to get Deku to say it.

"No." His voice was cold when he declined, "I'll see you at the sports festival, good luck." Hearing the name "Kacchan" again irritated him, but all it took was a deep breath to calm himself down again.

He hung up, and put the phone back into his pocket, and Toga finally finished her ice cream. When Deku looked over, he noticed that she managed to get ice cream on her cheek.

"Here." Without any thought, he wiped the ice cream off with his finger and licked the little bit for himself, "Thank you." He said jokingly, as he laughed.

--------------------

Deku, Toga, Tomura and Kurogiri were all back in the building that held the training Nomu's. They stood in front of the group of Nomu that Deku had chosen from the previous night, and three of which had collapsed after their bodies shut down.

"Looks like its been decided then, I will use these four Nomu for my attack." Deku left them to stand in the middle of the building with nothing for them to rest on as a test to see which ones were actually worth taking into the fight.

The three armed Nomu was still the one that stood out to Deku the most, so Deku approached it like before out of curiosity.

"But what's so different about you?" He spoke quiet enough that only he could hear himself as he held his hands on the sides of the Nomu's face. The sound of Tomura aggressively itching his neck began echoing through the building, catching the attention of everyone there.

"You're so cool that it pisses me off." Tomura started saying everything in his head that he thought about Deku, "Not only are you so much better than me, but my father sees you more like a son than his actual son." Deku turned his whole body from the Nomu, then towards Tomura and started walking towards him.

"Then train!" Deku said that like it was so easy, and Tomura was about to mention how hard it actually is until Deku finally made his way to Tomura and grabbed his wrists to stop him from itching his skin off.

"Tomura, I think you should listen to what Deku has to say." Toga tried backing up Deku, knowing exactly what he was going to say.

"Thanks, Toga!" Deku thanked Toga before he spoke to Tomura, "Listen, you are smart and you have an awesome quirk, but out of everyone here, you are most at risk of dying." Deku tried to make his point clear as Tomura gave him a cold stare that didn't seem to phase Deku.

Deku took a step back from Tomura and looked over at Kurogiri.

"I'll leave one of the Nomu here, you make sure that Tomura doesn't die and actually makes progress, 'kay?" Deku set out his plan, one that he hoped would build Tomura into the villain that Deku wanted him to be. This was all part of a plan to stabilize the power distribution between the group.

"I never agreed to this." Tomura was about to complain, but Deku had already chosen the Nomu that would be used for Tomura's training.

The Nomu was almost an exact replica of the one they used in the U.S.J attack, except weaker. It was the first successful Nomu, but one that wasn't powerful enough to beat All Might, so they left it in the building filled with the failures.

Deku knew that Tomura wouldn't be able to beat the Nomu in physical strength, but also knew that with Kurogiri watching over the fight, Tomura could quickly learn different fighting techniques that would be useful for Deku in his future plans.

"Take this one. You don't have a choice." Deku guided the Nomu over to Tomura, then nodded at Kurogiri to indicate that he wanted to return to the bar and have the chosen Nomu rest for the sports festival.

Kurogiri opened a portal and let Deku and Toga walk through, returning to the bar.

"Deku, I'm sure you're aware that you will be going up against pro hero's and your friends when you initiate you attack." Kurogiri had one last question he wished to ask before Deku left, "How do you plan on fighting against them?"

It was a good question, but it was also one that Deku had an easy answer to. He was yet to start his basic training for his telekinesis, but he still practiced at home, which improved his capabilities.

"I plan to show them exactly what they should be afraid of." A psychotic smile came over Deku's face as he looked back at Kurogiri, lifting every object around them into the air with ease from the movement of his hand, then gently putting them back down.

"I see." Kurogiri then vanished to go back to Tomura like Deku had advised. Deku and Toga began walking towards the exit of the bar when Toga asked her question.

"What now?" Toga didn't want to end the day there, even though it was now night. Deku himself still had more to do, it was something specific.

"Now we find the famous Hero Killer." With Deku's reply, Toga jumped in the air in joy.

--------------------

"So, you want to add me to your numbers?" The voice was not nearly as threatening as the name Hero Killer, of which the voice spoke for, "No matter what you want to accomplish, it is necessary to have conviction and desire. Those without it and those who are weak will be weeded out. It's only natural"

Stain held his sharp weapon next to Deku's face and in the floor with Toga behind him, angry over the fact that he made Deku bleed. The only reason why Toga hadn't attacked was because Deku told her not too.

"That's why it turned out like this." Deku smirked as he laid on the floor with the intention of insulting the Hero Killer.

"Now that I've met you in person, you're no fun." Deku looked like he didn't have a care in the world even though Stain had used his quirk on him, "I'm sure Toga would've loved you had you not hurt me. But seeing how you think everyone should have conviction, why not just do what you do because it's fun?"

Toga recognized exactly what Deku was saying, and felt honored that he would use her words when he was so close to death. Deku knew that Stains quirk had ran out, so he lifted his face up with a lot of strength, cutting his cheek on Stains weapon.

"I can't deny that you would be a great asset to our team, so I'll let it slide." Deku then pulled out a kitchen knife from his pocket and stabbed stain in his left arm, pushing him away.

Deku stood up and brushed off his clothes from the dirt from the floor. Toga quickly wrapped her arms around Deku's arm and looked at Stain with an angry expression. A psychotic smile came over Deku's face.

"How about you just join us, and you can kill those who don't have conviction." Deku quoted Stain as he offered his hand to pick Stain up. Stain felt how crazy Deku really was, feeling like he had to accept Deku's offer.

After standing up on his own, taking out the knife from his arm and throwing the knife on the floor in front of Deku, Stain gave his response.

"It seems we agree on one thing: to destroy the present." Stain accepted Deku's offer with a smile on his face. Although they had different beliefs, Stain knew that joining the League of Villains would prove useful for both sides.

"Good. Now get out of my sight." Deku spoke as if he was giving an order, and it was an order that Stain followed.

Once Stain left, Toga quickly licked the blood of Deku's cheek, causing him to blush.

"I don't like it when other people do that to you." Toga place her hands on Deku's cheek and kissed him, "I'll kill anyone who tries to hurt you." Her voice was cold, but filled with love. She stared into Deku's eyes.

"And somehow you've just made me love you more than I already did!" Deku spoke with a bright smile as he put his forehead on hers. Toga actually expected Deku to move back in surprise, but it was her that was surprised instead. Toga's heart started to pound, and her eyes glistened with joy.

As they let go of each other, everything around them seemed brighter.

"I think it's about time we get going." Deku stretched his arms as Toga stared at him, "No one is coming down into the alley or getting drunk at night anymore because we're all over the news, though our faces aren't." Deku pointed out the biggest issue they faced, one that they didn't know how to solve.

"It'll be okay, Izuku. There will be so many people at the sports festival, I can't wait!" Toga got more and more excited as she thought of the sports festival.

"We'll finally get to show ourselves to the world." Deku looked up at the black sky, then looked back down at Toga and offered his hand, "I think it's about time the world saw how chaotic things can really get."

Toga took Deku's hand with the smile of a sadistic villain, a smile that Deku loved.

"Let's put on a show they will never forget." Deku's words were filled with the thought of pain, almost in a raspy voice.
