CHAPTER 2: THE DEAL

I walk toward my office wearing frown face, whrn I already enter I saw my friends looking at me boredly.

"What took you so long?" Mayca asked. I rolled my eyes before sitting on my chair and close my eyes for a minute to release my anger away. "What's with the face janine?"-Marlon, " What's on her mind actually!!!" I shout angrily, "What's happening to you?!!"- Adrian, " I woke up so early just to visit him and when I arrived there, guards are blocking my way, his my husband for gods sake!!!", I stand in so much anger, i can feel my blood is boiling, but i notice everyone was quiet they're eyes are asking me why I over reacted!! "Guys?!!?..are you with me??",...." Try to understand his mother bess",-Christine, "Hah" I laughed at her suggestion! "Really???!, kindly give me a reason please!!..." I sat on the chair and calm myself "....she's beyond the limit!!, Im the wife buti cant do anything!" I continued, "Then whats your plan?, powerless wife!!"-Adrian, then he smirked at me, i throw my ballpen at him "Shut up you a**hole!!", I said irritatedly, Iwas about to say something again when Leila my secretary entered my office. "Sorry to disturb you and your friends maam, but Mrs. Emma Suarez want to talk to you", and then I saw the woman behind he, speaking of!, I change my expression into blank expression "Great because I want to talk to her too", I said coldly

EMMAN'S POV

Its been a week since the last i saw her and for some reasons i want to see her. I am recovering now based on my doctor. Im home but it feels like its not. Im longing for something I guess?. In days and weeks passed i learned everything about myself. I am Emmanuel Suarez, single, 27 yrs old, owner of SUAREZ GROUP OF COMPANY, I am now at the state of temporary amnesia. My parents are Emma Suarez and Manuel Suarez, even I dont want to, I need to rest here, I have this feeling like i want to go to my office because shes there but thats impossible!, according to my friends(they say)the girl enter my room that day is just a mistake but i doubt to believe that!.

I was bored the whole day, it was 7 pm and still nobody's home. I decide to go downstair to ask for food. " Ah sir do you need anything?" an old woman asked me, I smiled before I answer. "Its okay I can get it myself" I open the refrigerator and look for food to eat, when I already pick and start to eat I heard a car engines coming outside, "I think they're home" I whisper before continue eating...

"Hi son!, how are you?" mom asked "Im okay a little bored" I smiled "I want to go to my office" she's frowning when i looked at her "Your not that better, you better stay here and rest"-mom, "But im bored here" I complain, she sighed as a sign of defeatness. "Fine, I actually hire your new secretary" i smiled at her but i frown after i realize what she said, "Wait, secretary? who?" I asked curiously "You will meet her tommorow, for now just rest because its already late" she said then kiss me on the check "goodnight son" she added then leave me. She left me confused at the same time curious.

JANINE'S POV

*Infinity Bar*

"I hate her decision, but I cannot do anything about it, damn it!!" i said before drinking my martini "another glass please!" I talk to the waiter "Hey calm down, dont you think its a good idea?"-Laika, I roled my eyes " And whats good about that huh?", "You see?, In that case you can have his time, where you and him can start"-Laika, " Right janine, and still your not divorce to him, just why you beg her, right?"-Christine added, I didnt answer them and continue drinking, I will bring him back no matter what!!. "Ahm janine may I ask something?" Adrian asked "Go ahead" I said tipsy, I think Im drunk "Why are you trying hard to gain his memory, we all know that he doesn't love you before!", Adrian stated like it doesn't have effect on me at all, tsh this scumbag!, I laughed sarcastically when I realized that hes right, my laughed turns into sob and then i found myself crying again and then i feel that someone hug me, "You love him that much huh?" I didn't answer him "That lucky bastard!!!", he hissed when I pinched his nipple because of the statement he throw. He let go of me and wipe my tears before looking into my eyes " Do you get what my point is?" I frowned "What point are you saying?" I asked "The statement earlier" -Adrian "Actually i dont" I said "Tsh!, what I mean earlier is instead of bringing his memory back why dont you just accept the situation and make a new memories"-Adrian. Because of that I understand what hes trying to say, I stare aat him for a moment " Didn't you hurt?", I asked out of the blue, he frowned at me "I mean your my ex and you love me until now right?" I tease him "Wow!!, Conceited?" well!! I raise my eyebrow at him "Tsh!!....ok fine it hurt of course and yes i still love you so stop look at me that way because im falling again" Im shocked of that statement, Did he just confess?? my eyes slowly widen of that thought....."hahaha, you look very shock dont worry i will not court you AGAIN until your married to that bastard!" he joked!! Yes, he was JUST JOKING!!!! "Tsh!! stop it will you?!" I shout!! "Where are the others?" I asked to change the topic "Well B.A.F.W.G.A.D.!"-Adrian wtf!! what is that?? "What?!!!"-me "Tss...Boys Are Flirting While Girls Are Dancing!!" he said before drinking "huh!!! since when did you learn to put an acronyms!!??" unbelievable! this guy is giving me headache! tsh!!, he just shrug his shoulder "C'mon ill take you home, its late already!" he said "Yeah right" I answer even i feel dizzy because of him tss...

I inhale exhale and look at my reflection on the mirror, I am now wearing a secretary uniform because this is my first day of being my husband secretary, I am doing this not because of his mother but because for him, for us!!. I inhaled exhaled for the last time before stepping out of my room. I enter my car and start its engine I give a loud breath to take away my nervousness "Hhoooohh!! Ypu can do it janine!!".
