Vrinda fidgeted with her fingers nervously as confusion confounded her already muddled mind. Vivaan refused to meet her eyes, not to declare his dissent, but out of unconditional respect for her fragile mental state because of conflicting and contrasting emotions wracking havoc upon her.
However, that respect did not deter him from grabbing every opportunity to be in her company by bringing her food or helping her acquaint with the technological advancements, which she forgot and usually tech-savvy mind did not like it one bit.
The unmistakable flicker of pain in his eyes whenever he could not find excuses to remain by her side, the blatant concern and his worn out features ravaged her conscience with waves of guilt which were threatening to demolish the impenetrable fortress she had tried to build around her heart.
