She meets and falls in love with Kim Tan who happens to be her boyfriend's best friend unknowing to her, and drama ensues as different love triangles are formed. Lee Nana comes to find out that she isn't really who she thinks she is, and everyone around her is keeping one secret or the other from her. She gets to understand how one decision can change a person's life as well as those around her for the better... Or maybe for worse. ******** Tan locked eyes with her over his wineglass, she was pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers, and he could get any of them between his sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn? She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heartbeat quicken. 'You have a boyfriend, what are you doing letting yourself get attracted to this guy?' she asked herself. He could tell she was nervous, it made him smile. It reassured him to know he still had that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him. He reached across the table and placed his hand over her hand making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down girl, I don't bite. you just look so nervous, I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes. "I'd appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown. "I'm sorry, I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," he said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again. "We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up everytime I touch you. that would raise suspicion don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes "Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about, I'll do it right. But until then keep your hands to yourself." She said with a polite smile. We'll see about that. Tan thought. The News Will Be All Over The Tabloids By Tomorrow.

Tan and Nana finally got to Mrs Kim's table, "You look amazing in this gown!" Mrs Kim exclaimed as soon they reached her, and Tan bent down to peck her cheeks.

"Thanks, ma'am, you're glowing yourself," Nana said, admiring Mrs Kim's gold tulle V-neck gown.

"Thanks my darling," She said, full of smiles; she always loved being complimented. Hence, she always gave as much as she received.

"What were they saying to you down there?" She asked, raising her delicate brow in the direction they'd just come from.

"Nothing much. Just apologies," Tan said with a shrug as his glance slid from his mom to Nana's face.

"See why I insisted you must be here? This whole thing will be old news, and everyone will know you're finally over it. Forgiveness is the best form of vengeance," Mrs Kim smiled. She was always a peace-loving person until it directly affected her.

"You have no idea who I bumped into at Yong's beauty parlour... Speak of the devil; she's coming this way. Min-jung, you'll have to be careful around this one." Mrs Kim warned in a low tone.

Tan closed his eyes when he saw her, Kang Jin-A, daughter of Kang Moon-Soo, Governor of Incheon.

She was wearing a strapless, Cinderella-esque onyx gown of semi-embroidered fabric which accentuated her thin waist, hugged her hips, and flared out a bit, stopping slightly above the butterfly knot of her classy burgundy suede high-heeled shoe. A deep V-slit on the back revealed her flawless skin. Her long black hair was wrapped in a low chignon bun, revealing her long pale neck.

She had made her affections for him known from their high school days, and she had been more than disappointed when he had returned from abroad with a girlfriend. She had been the only one who had made her joy obvious when Ji won had turned down Tan's proposal at the birthday party two years ago.

As far as she was concerned, Tan was her man, whether or not he accepted it. She had been happy that she would finally have her chance with him after his relationship with Ji Won, but that had not been the case.

Tan had avoided her at all costs and had been forced to throw her out of his house the one time she had gone to seduce him. He didn't want any confrontation at the moment, especially not with Nana around.

"My darling Tan!" Jin-A exclaimed, wanting to draw attention to herself as she made her way to Tan's table.

Nana sipped from her wineglass as she observed the lady approaching them. The lady was beautiful; she would give her that. She was the sort of lady that would walk into a place and capture everyone's attention.

"I've missed you," She said, giving him a smacking kiss on his mouth as he rose to greet her; she knew he wouldn't handle her roughly in public.

"How have you been?" He asked politely, stepping away from her to prevent another assault on his lips.

"How do you think I've been? You abandoned me," She said with a beautiful pout that made Nana want to bite her.

"Hello, Mrs Kim! How have you been?" She asked, placing a possessive hand on Tan as her gaze moved from Mrs Kim and rested on Nana.

"Meet my girlfriend, Min-Jung. Darling, meet my friend Kang Jin-A" Tan said, withdrawing his hand from Jin-A's grip.

"Your girlfriend, huh?" Jin-A asked, taking a glass of wine from the nearest waiter.

Nana gave her a sweet smile as she stood up to offer her hand for a handshake.

Jin-A had never been one to pretend; she didn't like this girl, whoever she was. This was her man, and she intended to keep it that way. She ignored Nana's outstretched hand and turned to Tan with a look of mild annoyance.

"Tan, what is the meaning of this nonsense? I thought you learned your lesson after what Ji Won did to you. Don't tell me I gave you this whole time to get over your heartbreak only for you to run into the arms of another golddigger the moment you were fine."

Nana withdrew her outstretched hand and slipped it around Tan's waist, Making Jin-A glare at her.

"Jin-A, please not here. I can't stand another public drama," Tan pleaded quietly.

"Don't worry, baby; I'll take care of it," Nana said to Tan as she turned to Jin-A. "I'm sure your problem is with me and not with him. Why don't we step out....." The rest of her statement was lost in the gasp of shock that escaped her lips as the cold wind hit her face.

"Who do you think you are to want to talk to me? What is my business with you?" Jin-A asked hotly as her eyes shone brightly with hostility.

Nana wiped the wine off her eyes and gritted her teeth as her temper rose. What harm would it do? This was her last day here, right? She took her glass of wine, and before Tan could stop, she emptied it into Jin-A's hair.

Everyone gasped in shock. Nana angrily walked away before Jin-A could recover from the shock.

Never had Jin-A been so embarrassed or humiliated in her life. Jin-A gave Tan a look that said, "This isn't over yet," As she stormed out of the wedding hall.

Nana entered the ladies' room and angrily sat on a toilet seat. She needed to think about what had just happened.

Two ladies entered the ladies' room laughing excitedly, oblivious that Nana was inside.

"I'm so glad I didn't miss this. The news will be all over the tabloids by tomorrow, 'Almighty Jin-A humiliated by an unknown lady'," Lady A said as she and her partner burst into laughter.

"She thinks everyone cares about her being the Governor's daughter. That's the only reason we respect her anyway." Lady B said as they walked out of the ladies' room.

Governor's daughter? What governor's daughter? What had she done to herself? She asked in horror. She always allowed her temper to get the better part of her, and this was going to be her undoing, just as her father had always warned.

Nana wanted the floor to swallow her or, even better, spit her inside her room. At least that way, she would not need to face the consequences of her actions.
