Forever Your Boyfriend

**Credit to the real owner of the cover photo** Lee Nana finds herself caught up in the middle of a drama she knows nothing about, when she accepts the request of her best friend to stand in for her as an hired girlfriend. She meets and falls in love with Kim Tan who happens to be her boyfriend's best friend unknowing to her, and drama ensues as different love triangles are formed. Lee Nana comes to find out that she isn't really who she thinks she is, and everyone around her is keeping one secret or the other from her. She gets to understand how one decision can change a person's life as well as those around her for the better... Or maybe for worse. ******** Tan locked eyes with her over his wineglass, she was pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers, and he could get any of them between his sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn? She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heartbeat quicken. 'You have a boyfriend, what are you doing letting yourself get attracted to this guy?' she asked herself. He could tell she was nervous, it made him smile. It reassured him to know he still had that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him. He reached across the table and placed his hand over her hand making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down girl, I don't bite. you just look so nervous, I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes. "I'd appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown. "I'm sorry, I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," he said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again. "We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up everytime I touch you. that would raise suspicion don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes "Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about, I'll do it right. But until then keep your hands to yourself." She said with a polite smile. We'll see about that. Tan thought. Lovely Earrings.

Min-Jun just stood there. He wasn't sure if he was embarrassed that he had heard something like that or was just being embarrassed on her behalf.

Was it even remotely possible that someone as pretty as she is, was single? You have to be single to be a virgin, right? He asked himself.

Mi Cha stood up without turning to look at him and walked out on them.

Mrs. Kim frowned. She couldn't understand Mi Cha's reaction. Why was she being so serious over something as minor as this?

"Sit down and have breakfast. I'll be back," She said to Min-Jun, as she left to join Mi Cha. She saw Mi Cha huddled in her bed with a headset over her head. Mi Cha only did that when she was upset.

"Darling, what's wrong?" She asked as she sat on the bed, patting Mi Cha's head.

"I just don't appreciate you discussing my private affairs within public view," Mi Cha said, turning to look at her mother.

"I'm sorry if that upset you; it's just sex. There's no big deal about it in this current age and time," Mrs. Kim told her as she took off the headset.

"It's not just sex. There's nothing 'just' about sex. Having sex with a real human being is not the same as using vibrators on yourself," Mi Cha said, unable to control her rising temper.

"Watch it, girl! Don't insult me," Mrs. Kim warned.

"That wasn't an insult. I'm just trying to let you understand that sex is a touchy subject for me. And I'll appreciate it if we don't talk about it again," She said.

"By the way, I wanted to tell you I'll be traveling with Tan to Seoul before the end of the week," She said in an attempt to change the topic.

Sex was a touchy subject for her, huh? Little wonder she had never had a boyfriend like young girls her age. She intended to find out all about it soon enough.

"That's ok; I'll just leave you to your stuff and go discuss business with Min-Jun," She said as she walked out of the room.

Ji-Tae looked at Min-Jung incredulously, he had always known her to be a bimbo with more tits than a brain, but he was finding it difficult to understand what was going on in her brain. Either she thought he was stupid enough to do that, or she was trying to play smart.

He exhaled deeply. She was getting on his last nerve, and he was not sure how much more of her nonsense he was going to be able to absorb without exploding back at her.

"Baby, that's ridiculous. You can't expect me to do that," He said with a frown moving slightly away from her.

"Really? Then I'll keep the baby. I'll have the child. No one will know about it until you sort out your life and we are ready to get married," She said with a broad smile.

How in good heavens had he gotten involved with such an unreasonable person? He asked himself; he took a deep breath to calm himself. He was going to try once more; if she failed to heed his advice, then he'd have to take care of it himself.

"Baby, you can't have this baby. I don't want a bastard. How do you think people will look at the child when you bring him/her after we get married? It's not going to be fair to the child," He said, holding her hands.

"What if something happens to me in the process? How are you going to live with the guilt?" She asked, giving him more room to redeem himself and prove to her that he still loved her.

"I'll live with the guilt. Just get rid of it," He said and kissed her forehead.

She had no plan of keeping the baby of such a jerk, but he would never know about it. She was going to do everything within her power to frustrate him. And she was going to ensure Nana never ended up with such a person.

Nana deserved better. Even though she had made the mistake of betraying her best friend, she had no plans of allowing her best friend to fall into the hands of this jerk.

"I can't abort it. I'm all my mother has; if anything happens to me, my mother will die," She said, standing up to leave.

Ji-Tae closed his eyes in frustration. He would have to dirty his hands. He would ensure that thing in her womb never saw the light of day. He promised himself as she walked out of the office.

Tan dialed the man's number over and over again. He glared at his phone; he would just have to go over to the 'Hire A Girlfriend' Office.

He would call Mi Cha and ask her to get ready. They would leave for Seoul in the morning. He would now focus on his job and cover all he needed to do at the office. If it meant taking work home, he would work overnight to do everything necessary. That way, he wouldn't have to rush back to attend to any business. He would be in Seoul until he found her.

Nana sat opposite Min-Jung at the cafe opposite her workplace, which was the most accessible and closest place to meet with a person during work hours.

None of them said a word for the first five minutes.

"I'm sorry," Min-Jung said, breaking the silence. Even though Nana didn't know it, she apologized for everything. For the lies and for being a lousy friend. She hoped if Nana ever found out about all she had done, Nana would forgive her.

"What exactly are you sorry for?" Nana asked, raising a brow at the friend she no longer recognized.

"I'm sorry for lying to you, for not being straight with you," Min-Jung said.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend? You could easily have told me you wanted some time away with him, and I would have covered for you. Why haven't I seen my best friend's boyfriend? Or you're scared I'll snatch him from you?" Nana asked, chuckling at her joke.

"No, not at all. Things are not that serious, so I hesitated to introduce him to you," She said with a serious face.

"Loosen up, girl! You know I was joking. I don't appreciate you lying to me; it gives room for trust issues and doubts. Please be more sincere with me henceforth," Nana said with a smile, grateful to have resolved her issue with Min-Jung.

"I promise I'll be more sincere. Thanks for understanding," She said, reaching over the table to touch Nana's hand.

"So that being said, how did it go? I want every juicy detail." Nana asked excitedly,

"Not so fast, girl; you first have to tell me all about your one week with the rich dude. I even heard you fought with a Governor's daughter, and Tan has been disturbing my boss to get my number; spill it all" Min-Jung said enthusiastically without noticing the sharp shadow that passed Nana's face.

Immediately Min-Jung mentioned Tan's name; her heart skipped a beat. She checked the time; it was almost past lunchtime.

I have to get back to work right now, but we will have to meet and talk about all this," She said, getting up.

Min-Jung walked with her to the front of her office, and they hugged; as she pulled away from the hug, she noticed Min-Jung's earrings. It looked very familiar. She had seen something like that somewhere, but she couldn't remember where, and she was sure it hadn't been an earring she had seen.

"Lovely earrings," She said, shrugging off the feeling as she walked back into her office.
