Lee Nana comes to find out that she isn't really who she thinks she is, and everyone around her is keeping one secret or the other from her. She gets to understand how one decision can change a person's life as well as those around her for the better... Or maybe for worse. ******** Tan locked eyes with her over his wineglass, she was pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers, and he could get any of them between his sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn? She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heartbeat quicken. 'You have a boyfriend, what are you doing letting yourself get attracted to this guy?' she asked herself. He could tell she was nervous, it made him smile. It reassured him to know he still had that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him. He reached across the table and placed his hand over her hand making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down girl, I don't bite. you just look so nervous, I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes. "I'd appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown. "I'm sorry, I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," he said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again. "We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up everytime I touch you. that would raise suspicion don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes "Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about, I'll do it right. But until then keep your hands to yourself." She said with a polite smile. We'll see about that. Tan thought. How About A Game Of Truth Or Dare?

He locked eyes with her over his wineglass; she was pretty as sin. He wanted her; he tried to take her right there. Tan could barely remember the last time he had felt so strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the realization that he didn't just want her body; he wanted her heart too.

Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers; you could get any of them between your sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn?

She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said, smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive, but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heart race.

You have a boyfriend; what are you doing, letting yourself get attracted to this guy? She asked herself.

He could tell she was nervous; it made him smile. It reassured him that he would have that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him.

He reached across the table and placed his hand over her making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down, girl, I don't bite. You looked so nervous; I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes.

"I'll appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown.

"I'm sorry. I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," He said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again.

"We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up every time I touch you. That would raise suspicion, don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes.

"Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about; I'll be amazing. But until then, keep your hands to yourself," She said with a polite smile.

We'll see about that. Tan thought.

"How come you never mentioned your sister to me? Don't you think it would have been a disaster had I bumped into her at the party without knowing you have a sister?" She asked with a hint of annoyance.

"Who have you been talking to? Yong or Mi-Ok? Which of them gave you such classified information?" He asked with narrowed eyes.

"Is that important? Shouldn't you be grateful they gave me vital information you were supposed to share?" She retorted.

**********

The drive to the house was a quiet one. Tan said nothing, and neither did Nana. Immediately Mi-Ok opened the door; Nana took off her heels at the door and walked barefooted to her room.

Tan followed closely behind her; he couldn't afford to allow their last night together to end this way... It was now or never for him.

"Since this is our last night together, can I at least get a hug? or even better?" He asked with a charming smile that made her heart skip.

"No, no, I don't mean sex," He said immediately after he saw her raised brows.

"How about we watch a movie and talk about anything before we go to bed? I'm not feeling sleepy yet, or are you sleepy?" He asked with a pleading smile.

Just say you're sleepy and go to bed right now. You'll make out with him before the night is over if you go with him. She told herself and opened her mouth to say goodnight.

"No, I'm not feeling sleepy yet; I'll just freshen up and join you," She said to her utter amazement.

Tan did a little victory dance as he stepped out to discharge Mi-Ok for the night. He knew that she would vanish if she knew he needed privacy, but he wanted to ensure that she was not going to interrupt at an inopportune time

Nana stepped inside her room and closed her eyes; what had she just done? Going out there meant she was ready for whatever would follow. This was the mixed signal he talked about. She should have just said goodnight and left him there.

She dropped her shoes on the floor, took off her gown, and changed into a casual loose black dress. She quickly used her face cleanser to wipe the makeup off her face. When she was satisfied with her appearance, she stepped out.

He was holding a bottle of wine and two glasses when she joined him in the sitting room.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my sister," He said, handing her a glass of wine,

"She was adopted shortly after I traveled abroad for my studies, I came back a few years later, but there wasn't enough time to get to know her before my ex broke up with me. I was distraught and shut everyone out. She traveled shortly after. So that's as far as my relationship with her goes. Besides, I don't expect her to be at the wedding; she's currently in California," Tan said, wanting to get the issue out of the way.

"I see," She said quietly as she sipped the wine.

"Since today is our last night together, how about you loosen up, and let's have fun?" He asked with a lazy smile.

"Why do you keep emphasizing the last night together? Is that supposed to be emotional blackmail?" She asked, raising her eyebrow so slightly it was hardly noticeable.

"If it would make you grant my heart's desires, then consider it emotional blackmail," He responded with a boyish smile that made his pseudo dimples wink handsomely.

His smile was so infectious that she smiled in return. "So, what do you consider fun?" She asked.

"How about a game of truth or dare? Ever played it?" He asked with a mischievous smile.

She knew she was about to make a mistake, but she couldn't help it. She seemed to have little or no control over her emotions around him, especially at the moment. "Once or twice," She said.

"Do you have any reservations about it? We could do something else if you're not feeling up to it," He said with a challenging smile.
