"Your test result shows you took something that triggered the miscarriage," The doctor told Min-Jung.

"But I didn't take anything. I wouldn't deliberately try to abort my child," Min-Jung said with tears trailing down her cheeks.

She could not believe that this was happening to her. She really hoped it was all a nightmare.

"Maybe you took it without knowing. What about alcohol? Did you take alcohol?" The doctor asked, feeling sorry for her.

"Just a half glass of wine," She said between sobs.

"You should know better than that. Alcohol intake isn't advised during pregnancy. But don't worry, you will be fine. You can always have another kid," The doctor reassured her, patting her hands.

"You don't understand. I can't tell him I had a miscarriage. He might not go on with the marriage plans if he finds out," She needed to talk to someone, and the only person she could tell and be sure her secret was safe was her doctor.
