Nana sat opposite her father and adjacent to her grandfather as they all ate dinner. They could all tell she wasn't hungry because of the way she was pushing around the food on her plate.
They all ate quietly as they waited for her to say something or ask a question. When it because quite obvious that she wasn't planning to, her grandfather decided to speak up.
"I guess you have a lot of things on your head right now and so many questions you'll like to ask," He said as he dropped his spoon to give her his complete attention.
"Uh-uh," Nana said without raising her eyes from her plate.
"You can ask. We will answer your questions," Chairman Jiang said with a concerned frown.
"Do you mind if Tan meets me here tomorrow? He has to pick me up," Nana asked.
"Oh! Yea, Kim Tan. How is he doing? I'm sorry I didn't ask. What brought you back to Seoul so soon?" Chairman Jiang asked, sensing that she wasn't ready to discuss the past at the moment.
