Job Well Done

"Excellent! Wonderful job, kid!" The Beast shouted as the ground around them shook at the same time. 

Well, I should have paid attention but I think it turned out fine in the end. Ace thought, looking at the overgrowth of plants all around him, some of them covering almost the entirety of the building that they had just repaired. Hmmm … it could be an aesthetic. 

"I am glad you like it." Ace said, a little proud and at the same time a little nervous from the rush of adrenaline that came before. 

Even though he fell over a puddle, he learnt something important. That the more he feels an emotion of excitement, the stronger and more effective the [Spores] can get. Even if all he was feeling was panic.
