Chapter 33: He won't do anything to me.

" Don't worry, he won't do anything to me okay? " I tried to assure her. " You know what they say about him on the news, Thompson Frederick and Xavier Scott are two people one never ought to mess with, coupled with the fact that he is Asher's son." She explained still worried, how do I explain to her he was nothing like they say on the news. Or was I the one mistaken?

Thompson Frederick aka The Thompson was the owner of the biggest shopping mall in Paris and also the CEO of Blaze Entertainment, he was America's second richest bachelor based in Paris and was second to Xavier Scott his best friend. They were more like brother brothers. While Xavier was the calm genius who hated crowd and paparazzi, Thompson was a playboy who always got into scandal but it is never to be forgotten that no one messed with any of the two brothers and got away with it, they made sure to establish that fact.

At one time a rival who got jealous of Blaze Entertainment tried to set Thompson up for raping an actress, The two brothers made sure his company got destroyed and forgotten, as for the actress who helped in the plan her carrier was completely ruined, Thompson made sure her carrier in the entertainment industry was over.

" Still Lisa, am scared " Had words brought me back from my thoughts, it was my fault for failing to recognise him else I could have warned her. I knew the only reason why Hads was worrying was because she thought Tommy would take out his anger on me.

" He won't do anything to me Hads, he really won't. Liam says something " I was certain he wasn't going you harm me. " I dunno Lisa, am worried too." He told me looking uncertain.

After a long time, I was able to convince them not to worry, We went to class and had just finished and were coming out when my phone started ringing.

" Hello"

" It's Tommy."

" Tommy? Hey Tommy." I could see Hads jerking up her head immediately looking at me with concern.

" I spoke with Your husband about your friend's."

" You spoke to him about them? About what happened earlier, Hads wanted to apologise for earlier she didn't mean to ..."

" It's alright Lisa, it's not about that. He wants them to have dinner with us tomorrow."

" Okay... I'll tell them, thanks. " I was so relieved it wasn't because of what happened earlier.

" Alright, see you later."

Immediately he hung up Hads clung to me " What is it, Lisa? "

"Everything is alright Okay? It's about the meeting YOU requested." I rolled my eyes to indicate it was all her doing.

" Oh God, what have I done? What made me do that? " She sighed

" I guess it's because of your anger for the old man." I suggested " Don't worry am proud of you, at least they know I have friends that will kick their ass if they mess with me. " I made a face and she laughed.

" Do you think we should go to dinner? " She looked uncertain.

" Hey, what happened to the brave girl who stood up for me a moment ago? Of course you're going and you're not only going but you will hold your head high and not be intimidated, okay? " She nodded with a smile. I was scared too but not because of Tommy, I felt relaxed around Tommy but the old man made me scared. I didn't know how he'd react to me so it made me anxious and what scared me most was Liam, if I was scared he could say or do something that might upset the old man. I was scared for myself, I was scared for Liam.

" I'll give Liam a call to let him know. " I nodded then remembered something and smiled.

" Hey, why are you smiling? " Hads pouted.

" Am just happy you'll get to meet Nancy, she has always wanted to meet my friends," I explained.

" Hmm... So you've been talking about Nancy a lot recently, hope she's not trying to steal my best friend 'cause it's enough to share you with Liam already." I couldn't help but laugh, Hads could be so jealous.

" Are you jealous sis? " I was smiling as I asked.

"Of course not " she denied, trying to hide her smile.

" Are you sure about that? I smell Jealousy in the air." She gently punched my shoulder as I teased her.

We got outside the the school gate and found Gab waiting, I don't get surprised seeing him anymore cause he always knew where I was. It was like he had a tracker on me, Once I even asked him how he always knew where I was, he smiled and said it was his job.

He was always accompanied by my bodyguard who never said a word but only nodded. He got down as usual immediately when he saw us approaching and waited by the door.

" Hello ma'am, Hi Miss Hadassah." He greeted me the moment I got to where he stood

" Hey Gab "I greeted back

" Hello, Hadassah greeted back too. She turned to me and continued "I'll talk to you later Lis, I have some things to take care of at the orphanage. "

" Is everything okay? " Hads loved children a lot and volunteered at an orphanage where she worked every weekend, I used to go to the orphanage as well but not as often as her.

" Two children are ill and currently in the hospital, We have to keep close eyes on the other children to make sure they are okay " She explained.

" Okay, we'll drop you off before I go to the coffee shop."

" It's alright Lisa, I'll take a taxi." She declined.

" That won't do Hads, You're coming with us." I pushed her gently toward the car before she could say a word.

We got to the Orphanage 25 minutes later, I decided to check on the children as well. I was so busy with the kids that I didn't even know I had spent so much time there, I checked my time to discover I had spent two hours there which made me smile.

I got to the cafe an hour later, Amanda was on duty and was attending to two men seated close to the window. I was so tired and didn't bother to take a close look at them.

" Hey Lisa, over here." I looked up to see Tommy waving at me with a smile, I guessed immediately that the man sitting next to him was going to be the old man. I walked to where they were seated and to my surprise it wasn't the old man.
