Ramon's Plan

After everything was ready, Ramon began adding all the ingredients into the pot, and his expression immediately changed.

"I'm not sure about the taste!" said Ramon as he scooped some of the dish and offered the spoon to Rika.

Rika blew on it and then tasted it.

"Mmm, this is delicious!" exclaimed Rika, then took a second spoonful.

Ramon couldn't believe what his wife was saying, so he scooped some broth from the seblak and tasted it himself.

Ramon once again felt proud of himself, amazed that he could cook something this delicious.

"I can't believe it's this good, let me try!" said Ibu, grabbing a plate and spoon.

Ramon let his mother taste it first, and sure enough, she immediately praised his cooking.

Not wanting to be included, Ayah took a plate and sampled his son's dish, again showering Ramon with compliments.

Another lunch began, with Ramon, Rika, and Tobi joining Ayah and Ibu for the meal.

"Full!" said Ibu when her plate was empty after her second helping.
