His mother also recalled that little Ramon was a boy who couldn’t be managed, but after meeting Rika, Ramon had changed a lot from his former self.

“So, we should thank our daughter-in-law!” said Father while pouring a second cup of tea for Mother.

Hearing their conversation, Rika approached them.

“You know, Rika, Ramon used to skip school a lot!” Father said, revealing his son’s past.

Ramon, overhearing this, immediately came over, laughing.

“Dad, why are you telling these stories?” said Ramon, covering his face.

“It’s okay, let Rika know what you were like!” Mother said, trying to ease Ramon’s embarrassment.

“But that was in the past!” Ramon defended himself.

Rika laughed, seeing Ramon so flustered.

They continued to joke around until the evening approached. When the evening came, Mother and Father decided to leave, as they didn’t want to take up all of Ramon and Rika’s time.

After they left, Ramon chose to rest because he felt exhausted.
