CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: DO I HAVE POWERS TOO?

 AGATHA'S POV.

"What the hell are you doing?" I yelled in pain, yanking my arms off Tempestina's grip.

"Training a grown-up adult how to use her powers. So shut up and focus," Tempestina retorted.

"Where are we?" I asked, looking around the old area.

"This is where Lysander lived," Tempestina responded.

"Really? It's so old and cozy," I blurted out.

"This house is thousands of years old. I figured it would be the last place Drystan would be looking for you," Tempestina truthfully replied.

"How do you know this place?" I asked in doubt.

"Focus Agatha," Tempestina commanded, squeezing my arms.

"OUCH! Where's Caspian and my mother?" I yelled out in pain.

"They are outside, hunting for food," Tempestina coldly responded.

"Well, isn't that dangerous? Drystan must be out there somewhere," I declined, wimping.

"Must you ask so many questions?" Tempestina asked, sending me a daring glance.

"How else am I supposed to swallow the pain…perhaps you want me to cry?" I responded.

"Agatha please…focus," Tempestina pleaded.

"I can't, I'm not ready yet," I blurted out, getting up from the chair, I turned back to avoid her disappointed face.

"We really don't have time for your stupid childish act Agatha," Tempestina groaned.

"What do you want me to do? My life was pre-perfect in my father's kingdom. I got married to an alleged cold husband, forced with his stupid brother and now I'm having alleged powers also. It's like I'm in a book," I yelled in frustration.

"It's all a part of the process, you are destined for great things. You are to save the people of this world," Tempestina calmly corrected.

"How can I save someone when I require a savior myself? I need to be saved from this life-threatening dream I'm in," I screamed.

A loud noise sounded outside, followed by a lady screaming and a loud bang.

"Lunaria," I yelled, storming out of the old building.

Caspian stood there, with Lunaria hiding behind him, with blood stains on his sword, and a guard lying dead.

I gasped in fright.

"We seem to have been spotted," Caspian announced coldly.

"Get rid of the body and everyone get inside right now," Tempestina commanded.

I stared at Lunaria's frozen body and with seriousness I declared.

"I'm ready."

We all got into the old house and Tempestina shut us in, camped in the dark, scary freaking old building.

"Okay…now this leaves us …what are we going to eat, are we going to starve?" Lunaria muttered.

"Are you seriously worried about food in a situation like this?" Tempestina retorted, shaking her head in disappointment.

"If they don't kill us, definitely hunger will," Lunaria pointed out.

"We won't be staying for that long," Tempestina strikes back.

"Can you old ladies just stop debating and let's get back into what we should be doing… before something even worse kills us? Like the poisonous stink oozing from this toxic old camp," I blurted out, shutting them up.

"I didn't notice that until now," Lunaria whispered.

"Mother!!!" I warned, rolling my eyes.

"Alright…I'm sorry, go on…I'll cheer you up," Lunaria said with a smile.

The training began and it wasn't as entertaining as I expected.

"What do you see?" Tempestina asked in expectation.

"Nothing," I replied.

"Focus, where's Kethan right now?" Tempestina demanded.

"I don't know," I yelled, throwing my eyes open.

"We keep doing it until you learn," Tempestina responded.

"Yes… thanks to that, I'm dehydrated," I blurted out in exhaustion.

"This demands maximum attention, you need to concentrate and connect yourself to them. You are linked to both of them and probably everyone in this world if you learn," Tempestina pleaded.

"I am trying!" I retorted.

"Please Agatha, you are all we've got," Lunaria added.

"Really, you think I'm not trying enough," I asked and scoffed.

"Alright, everyone rest for tonight. We continue tomorrow," Lunaria started with a large yawn.

"Cover your mouth… you are about to swallow everyone, lady python," Tempestina bullied.

"Shut up old witch," Lunaria retorted.

"Wow, how did you know that? You better not sleep too deep. I might snap your head off," Tempestina threatened.

"I'm sure my daughter won't stand and watch you do that," Lunaria declared with a smile.

"She's not your daughter," Tempestina responded, pissed.

"You want her? NO!" Lunaria teased, walking away.

Staring at both of them, I nodded my head in confusion.

"Why are they always picking at each other like newly wedded young couple? Kethan and I didn't even do that," I thought to myself walking towards a private area.

"Where are you going?" Caspain asked, trailing behind me.

"To train," I blurtly replied.

"I think you should rest," Caspian argued.

"I think we don't have much time left. I'll train for the whole night; I already know the basics," I announced. ignoring his suggestions, I walked towards a quiet Corner.

 DRYSTAN'S POV

Restless, I paced around my chamber awaiting news from the guard when they stormed in.

"There's five of you, where's the last person?" I asked, alarmed.

"We think he's dead, we couldn't find him," they respond in unison.

"That's not important, where are they?" I asked in fury.

"We couldn't find them, your grace," the front guard blurted out.

"Incompetent fools, get me the Priest, if he refuses to comply, drag him here," I commanded.

The guards stepped out of my chamber and I punched the wall in anger.

"Damn you Agatha," I cursed in disagreement.

Soon, the guards came back, dragging the priest along with them.

"I knew you wouldn't come willingly," I said and smirked.

"What do you want?" He bluntly asked.

"I'm assuming you know who Agatha is by now. Where is she?" I demanded anxiously.

"I don't know," the priest coldly stated.

"You might want to rethink that. I ask you again, where is she?" I asked, groaning in impatience.

"I said I don't know," He yelled back.

"Okay…cut off his toes one after the other and let him inhale the pain," I commanded the guard.

After slicing five toes, the priest still refused to speak.

"I must compliment you, you are strong," I muttered in disappointment.

"Hm…what would hurt you better, your daughter? How old is she again, thirteen?" I teased.

"Don't you dare hurt my daughter," he screamed in panic.

"Finally, the reaction I wanted. Guards get me his daughter," I commanded.

"No, I will tell you where Agatha is," he cried out.

"Good! Where?" I immediately asked.

"In your father's old house," he declared with seriousness.

"My father?" I asked, shocked.

"Mmm, so my mother is with them. She decided to betray me," I screamed, slamming my fist on the wall in anger.

"Bring them to me! If you don't, don't come back here because I'll kill you all," I declared with anger.

 AGATHA'S POV

With sweaty cold feet and pale blue skin, I elbowed myself back to reality, breathing heavily soaked in fear.

Lunaria rushed towards me in worry.

"What is it?" She hurriedly asked.

"I know exactly where to find him," I declared in satisfaction.

"Who?" Lunaria asked in confusion.

"Your son…Kethan."
