Aiden stared at Lucien's expression. His figure seems to be slouching, as if in pain. His eyebrows are creased, and a single drop of sweat drips from his forehead.
Is he still in pain?
Maybe Aiden should have done something more. Aiden reached out and squeezed Lucien's hand. Trying to get his attention. But Lucien won't look at him. He squeezed thrice, but it still did not work.
What's wrong? Do you hate me now? Aiden hung down his head dejectedly.
As Aiden moped around, Lucien was silently crying in his mind.
Victor.... Is this real? He's alive? In the flesh? Lucien will never forget this second male protagonist. He could be considered Aiden's rival in the future. They displayed equal strength of power in the Warriors Academe and portrayed to be the best in their field.
Because of their standing, they are always competing. But when that day came when Aiden was betrayed by his trusted comrades, it was only Victor who helped him. And he died because of that.
