The sound of a knife piercing through skin and bones echoed loudly in the basement. The man's agonizing scream followed. The killing was done hideously. It didn't take Lucien looking up to realize it was over.
"Ha, I don't want to take chances," Keith dragged the baseball bat towards Lucien. Then slammed it down on his head.
A loud crunch and the sound of a skull breaking brought a strange smile to Keith's ears. This blow finally renders Lucien unconscious.
Most normal people will die if they are hit twice in the head and hear the bones in their skulls crack. But because of Lucien's high HP and the Player Association's benefit, death is not an option.
Keith left Lucien's body tied up and the man's corpse in the basement before leaving. He went in the direction where the man had made the hole. His footsteps echo and gradually fade.
