Raging Mountain (3)

Unlike the trees that attacked earlier, the vines here are extremely sinister and persistent.

It wasn't affected by the blade's lethal dark mist. The parts that were cut off regrowed almost immediately.

Seeing this, Lucien scoffed.

"So this is the effect of the medicinal herb, eh?"

Lucien sped up, he sliced and cut faster than before. But the vines keep growing and keeping up with his speed.

One vine had sharp barbs and it struck at Lucien's arm then mercilessly tore at his skin. From his elbow down to his wrist.

This stopped Lucien's movement for a few seconds, he groaned out of pain as his blood gushed out. The vines then took advantage of his injury and started attacking mercilessly.

It suddenly changed its outer appearance, taking on the sharp pointy thorns and it wrapped around Lucien's legs.

With a forceful tug, it ripped Lucien's pants and skin, making deep incisions at his legs and calves.
