Strange dots of light were attracted towards Lucien. He did not step back as it gathered around him and disappeared in front of his lashes. When he blinks twice, Old Fe's voice is ringing in his ears. He felt Aiden's warm body beside him, clutching and pressing his tiny body against Lucien's.
"The Covenantors are stronger than Alchemists and Mages. They have body properties that act as catalysts, which enables them to transfer light magic from the mixed vials into ordinary objects. They can also use light magic like Mages do and fight the demons with it. "
Lucien raised his brow. He was surprised that such people existed in the 'Slaying the Demons,' but what surprised him even more were the words written above Old Fe's head.
