"What!" She said supprised "She can't give birth?!"

"Keep your voice down!" Hannah said quietly glaring at Sarphina.

"Sorry," Sarphina smirked "Oh my God, Hannah, What a news, so they want another bride to bare an heir for them?"

"Yes Sarphina," Hannah smiled.

"Wonderful, all the more we must prepare our daughters, they have to look their best," She said again plottingly.

Sabrina and Elena both stood in front of Mrs Hooke's shop, waiting to receive what they purchased.

"Oh Sabrina, it's remaining only three days till the celebration, I find myself unable to sleep at night!" Elena chattered excitedly.

"I don't think you are sleepy enough because if you were, you would be fast asleep unable to think," Sabrina replied glaring at her.

"Oh shut up, you are a joy killer," Elena glared back before returning back to her dream land "I mean he must be handsome, no! Of course he is, Daddy tells me of how stunning he is," Elena grinned.

"They are other handsome men in our village," Sabrina said smiling.

"Huh, don't tell me you are speaking of, Lyon?" Elena said glaring at Sabrina, she knew Sabrina had little crushes on Lyon and also knows that Lyon likes her alot too but they haven't been able to talk to each other yet.

"He is handsome, isn't he?" Sabrina questioned with a friend "And so are other men in the village, for all you know your prince charming might be a ugly monkey-"

"You take that back!" Elena said glaring hard at Sabrina who only grinned teasingly, before suddenly giggling.

"Look at your face!" She giggled uncontrollably "You are all red out of anger, you aren't married to him yet but look at you, all supportive like you have known him for years, Elena," Sabrina halt her giggles.

"Yes, I don't know him but soon I will," Elena replied smiling at her friend "And who knows you might catch his attention and he would fall so hard for you," Elena now giggled seeing the look on Sabrina's face.

"In her dreams," A woman's voice was heard behind them and they didn't have to turn around to know who spoke as she sighed and turned,

"Elizabeth?" Elena said frowning "What do you mean by that!"

The lady named Elizabeth was a looker too with red hair and black eyes, she was beautiful too but Sabrina was just better looking than her, beside Beth stood her escorts, Penelope a blonde haired with green eyes who was also pretty too and Vivian a brown haired with brown eyes who was also pretty and the three were grinning down at Sabrina and Elena.

"What she means..." Vivian started "Is your dearest friend is no match for any of us," She stopped. They all wore expensive clothing which exposed their curvy body and made them more attractive than Sabrina and Elena who wore plain and oversized gowns with their hairs tied roughly.

"And what makes you say that, Vivian?" Elena asked glaring.

"Because you both belong in poverty," Penny added "Goodness look at the rags you are in!" She said again as the three of them glared down at them.

"At least we don't try to force ourselves on men by seducing them with highly exposing clothings," Sabrina said calmly as she grinned and so did Elena seeing the anger rising on their features.

"Bitch!" Beth said "We don't seduce men! You lie!" She yelled as she noticed some passerby staring at the three of them and glaring.

"I don't, Beth. And why would I need to lie when the evidence is right in front of everyone to see," She smirked further as Beth and the rest reddened in embarrassment,

"When the prince marries me, you are going to regret ever saying this dirty things about me!" Beth snapped glaring them both.

"And what gave you the idea that he is going to pick you! You ugly goose!" Elena snapped back receiving widening eyes from the trio.

"You've got big mouth now, don't you, Elena?" Beth glared.

"Speak for yourself, ugly bitch!" Penelope added "You and your disgusting looking friend!" The three girls giggled.

"How dare you!" Elena gasped "You know Sabrina is more prettier than the three of you would ever dream of being," Elena snapped.

"You must be blind then, Elizabeth stands out more," Vivian said "And I can hear you admitting that you are an ugly bitch!" They giggled again making Elena red in embarrassment.

"You-" Elena stopped when Sabrina rested an elegant hand on her shoulder before turning to the girls and smirking,

"Then you must be blind because Elena here that I see is the most beautiful woman I have ever known," Sabrina said making Elena blush because her voice was loud and passerby, mostly men turned to notice and smile at her, irking the trio "Unlike the three of you who not only posses a ugly face but also ugly and dark hearts," The trio gasped at what Sabrina said.

"How dare you, bitch!" Penny yelled as she grasp for Sabrina's hair and yanked it behind making Sabrina groan in pain, which the trio grinned at,

"You let her go this instant! You bitch!" Elena yelled and went to grasp Penelope's blonde hair behind making her gasp in pain too and loose grip on Sabrina's hair.

"Let her go!" Vivian said grasping for Elena's hair and Beth grasp for Sabrina's hair again as they all started tugging and yanking each others hair while passerbys just stood and made fun of them.

"You let go of each other this instant, girls!" Mrs Hooke came back yelling at the top of her voice making the five girls stop and still holding onto each others hair.

"Let yourselves go now!" She yelled again making them let go of each other scared that the woman seemed so scary as she glared at them.

"They started-" Vivian started to be stopped by Mrs Hooke.

"You shut it!" She snapped "How shameful of the five of you to do such a thing so openly, have you no shame?" They all couldn't say anything but look down "And you all came from respectable families, what do you think would happen if your parents heard of this," She said calmly reasoning with them.

"We are sorry, Mrs Hooke," They all said together.

"Leave," She said speaking to the three girls as Sabrina and Elena stayed behind watching them glare at them before leaving,

"You both shouldn't have gotten involved with them," Mrs Hooke said glaring at them,

"Why? Because their Fathers works closely to the King!" Elena said in anger "My father also works for the King-"

"As a Coachman," Mrs Hooke said making Elena red in embarrassment one more time "Sorry dear but their father works closely to the King,in the courtroom, they are rich, you both should avoid them, Sabrina you too you know your mother wouldn't be happy by the fact that you are having silly fights with them,"

"I know, Mrs Hooke and we are very sorry, it won't happen again," Sabrina said truly sorry about what happened she didn't expect for them to attack them.

When Sabrina got home that evening her mother was already pacing around in the room with a frown on her face, seeing Sabrina walk in, she stopped and turned to look at her, glaring,

"Why, Sabrina?" Sarphina asked still glaring at her in frustration "Why would you do such a thing after my warnings to you?! Why do you have to go on and act so unladylike and in public too!" Sarphina yelled making Sabrina wince.

"Beth, Vivian and Penelope were at fault mama, so am not the one at fault neither was Elena-"

"Keep quiet, Sabrina! You could have ignored them instead of fighting and shaming each other in front of the entire village!"

"Am sorry, mama, it wouldn't happen again, Elena and I were just waiting to get the things we purchased when Beth and the rest came to us, we didn't start the fight, they did-"

"Enough, Sabrina!" Her mother yelled "I don't want to hear another word on it and I don't want to hear about what happened ever again, do you hear me?"

"Yes, mother, it won't happen ever again," She said sad once again because her mother couldn't understand how she felt and was always harsh on her but she knew she loves her and the reason she was being harsh towards her was because she wanted what's best for her, she sighed.

"Mother? You asked of me?," Rosaline stood by the door as she noticed the Queen mother sitting on the sofa, holding a tea cup filled with blood tea, she is an elder woman with black hair and deep red eyes, she raised her head to smile at her daughter in law who bowed,

"Come in, Rosaline and join me," Lucia said as Rosaline walked in and sat on the sofa opposite from Queen Lucia in the private ladies chatting room, a maid walked in and offered Rosaline blood tea which she took and sipped as the maid left, closing the door.

"Am sure you are not happy with the news of Lucian getting married again, Rosaline?" Lucia questioned resting her tea cup on the tray beside her on the table.

"How could I be?" Beautiful Rosaline said doing the same thing as she kept her tea cup too on her tray "You and father seems to be in a hurry to find Lucian a second wife I see..... How could you do this to me mother?!" She said both angry and frustrated.

"We never meant to," Lucia said kindly "I know how you must be feeling, Rosaline but you should also think of the kingdom and not be selfish, Lucian needs a heir, he is going to ascend the throne soon and he needs a heir, do you wish for the downfall of our beloved kingdom?" Lucia asked frowning,

"I do not, mother... We are trying mother, we really are-"

"Am sure you are but nothing is happening, can't you see? The sooner the better," Lucia said again seeing Rosaline frown "Once again, we are truly sorry for imposing this on you, you should know that we never intended to but we have to think of the future, we all have to and you shouldn't forget this too that Lucian loves you and only you he holds dear, a second wife does not mean, he turns his back on you, you know Lucian is never a kind to do such a thing," Lucia said trying to make Rosaline feel better.

"Yes mother and you should know that I won't let any lowly bitch snatch Lucian away from me because he is mine," She said with a grin "And I would make sure that she understands that," She grinned further.

"And you have to know this too Rosaline," Lucia started, "On the day of the ball you should go visit your parent, we do not want anything to distract Lucian if you know what I mean?"

"Fine! I can do that," Rosaline agreed

"He needs to focus all his attention of picking a suitable bride for himself and you would be a distraction if you were around him and it's good you understand all this Rosaline, I never thought you'd be this accepting to all this," Lucia said carefully watching Rosaline who grinned, Alright she is going to allow the bitch get married to her Lucian and bare him a child too, then look for a way to end her life and have the child and her husband back to herself, but she won't also easily let that bitch close to Lucian, he would never love her and she would make sure to make her life miserable to the point she would wish she never came into this castle, she grinned further,

"Of course I have no choice but to accept this, mother," she said sadly "For the kingdom and for Lucian,".

The day of the ball finally arrived Sabrina sat in front of a small mirror in her room that evening as her mother stood behind her, making her hair wavy and freely flowing down on her shoulders as she stared at herself in the mirror, is this really her, she thought as her green eyes went down to look at the pale coloured clothing matching her porcelain skin, it bared her shoulders to anyone's view with a long hugging sleeve that reached her sleeve, the bodice hugged her entire body, exposing her womanly curve, down to her ankle, it was a tight silky and expensive material which her mother had got from her father, But Sabrina hated how she looked, she looked like a whore.

"Do I have to wear this, mother? I have got other nice gowns in my wardrobe," Sabrina said carefully

"You can't wear those to such an occasion!" Her mother gasped in disbelief as she glared at her,

"I don't think anything is wrong with any of them, mother," Sabrina spoke again trying to persuade her mother but to no avail,

"No Sabrina, you won't be wearing them-"

"But I feel exposed!" Sabrina cried out in realisation,

"So you should be for tonight, Listen to me Sabrina, this is a big hit and you must grab it, why can't you just think like other girls,they are excited but you aren't, why?" Sarphina finished with her hair and was now staring at her daughter through the mirror,

"Because I don't want what they want!" Sabrina said in pain "I don't desire to marry any prince! I just want a simple and easy life, mother, why can't I ?" Sabrina said in pain as she stared into her mother's eyes who slowly bent down to her level and held her hands, what Sabrina saw in her mother's black eyes was beyond words, she saw warmth in them for the first time ever,

"My dear, please listen to me, I have been through hell all through my entire life, your father had loved and cared for me but sooner he was taken away from me, I was thrown out of the house to live on the streets and suffer, I had to care for you and myself, it was hell and I don't want such a thing to happen to you ever, my child, you mean so much to me, I might be harsh with you always but it is for your own good, so you won't suffer just like I did, I love you my daughter and so did your father,you have to do this for the both of us and also yourself too," Sarphina smiled sweetly at her,

"Am sorry but-"

"No ifs of buts, Sabrina," Sarphina frowned, getting up from where she was before "You look good and don't forget to put on a charming smile always and always try to get close to the prince," Her mother had said

But arriving at the huge castle, which she was stunned at seeing because she had never been here before, she looked around as the guards slowly turned their gaze to look at the damsel, other guests passing by too couldn't help but turn their heads and wonder who she was, she stepped into the main castle,

"This way milady," A maid said to her as she showed her to the huge ball room where the occasion was taking place, as she stepped in she saw that lots of people had arrived, even people from the village, she walked further in, some of them turned to look at her, men couldn't help but stare at her sexy figure, one they had never seen before, but their companions only glared at her in envy, she noticed they were also people with bright red eyes while others with deep red eyes and once she knew they were vampires but what she didn't know was that even werewolves attended the party too, she sighed as she looked around the room, it was beautiful with such high ceilings with chandelier on it, glowing golden, she saw the King and Queen sitting on their throne, up the altar and beside them stood a little boy who was handsome and smiling, a young woman dressed in beautiful expensive red silk gown also stood beside them, she had black hair and deep red eyes too, she was beautiful, she didn't think the prince had arrived yet but even if he did, she would hide away from his gaze,

"Hey pretty lady!" Suddenly she heard a deep voice and also someone's hand slipped round her tiny waist, making her jolt.
