A Long Night
"First, I know how you write. Second, all the people who participated in the game did not have husbands at all. You're the only one who has a husband," Damian explained. Kana bit Damian's hand to vent her frustration.
"Ugh! So everyone knows it's me? It's embarrassed " regretted Kana who realized that everyone who would know she was the owner of the paper.
Damian chuckled seeing Kana's pursed lips and occasionally biting her hand. He held Kana's nape and his lips began to kiss his wife's soft lips.
While Kana who was kissed was silent, this was only the second kiss she felt after the incident of snatching her first kiss on the first day she met Damian. Her hands gripped Damian's shirt to express her excitement and nervousness.
Her husband bit his lip lightly making the girl reflexively open her lips, Damian's tongue slipped in and touched Kana's tongue. Unknowingly, Kana's hand that was gripping Damian's shirt began to move around Damian's neck and occasionally squeezed the man's hair making it harder for Damian to restrain himself.
Just as that man was about to carry Kana to the bed, the girl immediately let go of their lips. She was panting for breath from kissing for a long time. Damian tried to make himself aware that Kana wasn't ready.
They sat in silence catching their breaths, Damian's eyes narrowed at the sight of something moving among the trees outside the gate surrounding his house. It was quite difficult to see what made the tall tree sway so much with the naked eye from Damian's nearly 300 meters away from the tree.
Damian's instincts told him that Kana was in danger, so he grabbed the girl and immediately fell to the floor.
BOOM
Gunshots rang out just as Damian and Kana fell from the sofa they were sitting on. Not until a few seconds the glass that became the edge of their balcony broke and the sofa Kana was sitting on was hit by a bullet that pierced the back.
Damian immediately realized that it could scare Kana, "Honey, don't be afraid. Calm down and don't scream, okay?" he whispered to Kana who was in his arms. His hands fumbled under the sofa quickly and found the gun he was looking for,

Damian shot the light on their balcony to outwit the shooter. He quickly carried Kana and ran out of the room, the guards and servants had arrived at the top of the stairs and hastily checked their master's room. Several stood guard around Damian.
"Only now on guard, hm?" Damian sneered with bad expression on his face,
Lily ran to them, "Is Kana okay?" she asked in a trembling voice.
"I'm fine, please put me down Dami" Kana asked. The girl looked a little pale and her hands were shaking slightly.
Kana was lowered and led to sit in the living room, Damian stared angry at the guards.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT ARE NOT KEEP WATCHING AROUND THE MANSION AND OUTSIDE THERE?" snapped the man with a face that really wanted to kill someone.
" FIND THE B*STARD THAT DARE TRYING TO KILL KANA!! CHECK ALL AREAS AROUND HERE! " he snapped.
"F*CK!" Damian cursed then quickly climbed the stairs to his study, who soon returned with various knives at his waist and long rifles in both gloved hands.
Damian knelt in front of Kana who was leaning limply in Lily's arms, "Honey, listen to me. Remember what I said before right? Do it, just trust the people I mention cause I'm going to go find that damn person in person " he whispered to Kana. The girl just nodded limply and rubbed Damian's cheek with her cold and trembling little hand.
"Sorry honey, I'll be back before 6:00 am. I'm sorry for putting you in danger, I love you " said the man and left with a lot of bodyguards.
There were still quite a few bodyguards left in the house, but Kana couldn't trust them at all. She could only believe in Lily, Raven, Tyron, and Mitha as Damian had said before.
"Looks like it's going to be a long night" Lily muttered. The middle-aged woman's hand rubbed her thigh in a gentle motion to examine the weapon she had strapped to her thigh.
"Mitha, make hot chocolate for Kana and Tyron to accompany Mitha," Lily said who also knew that not many people could be trusted in this house.
Raven stood near Kana and Lily on the defensive, his hand tightly gripping his briefcase.

Raven lowered her body and Kana whispered, "There is someone I suspect"

"Lilia" Kana's short whisper with a low volume made Lily and Raven who heard it fell silent.

Several hours had passed, it was already past 5 in the morning. Kana seemed to be trying to sleep in the guest room accompanied by some people. The girl's body seemed still weak so Lily forced her to rest.
Again Kana needed hot chocolate to calm her fears, so it was Lily and Raven who now turned to the kitchen to make it. Only Mitha and Tyron in that room with Kana, while the other guards guarded outside. Tyron who felt quite tense in such an atmosphere went to the balcony of the room to take a sip of cigarettes,
There was a knock on the guest room door and when Mitha opened the door a knife slashed her arm several times rapidly from the side until the young girl sat down and winced in pain. Tyron, who heard Mitha's groan, went back into the room quickly, but unfortunately something unexpected happened.
Their bodies all suddenly stiffened when they saw the limp Kana was being gripped by a person dressed all in black and using a cloth to cover her entire head apart her eyes.
"You just take a step forward, your beloved madam's smooth neck will be scratched by my knife" threatened the unknown person whose voice sounded like a woman.
