Daniel entered the house only to find a teenage girl looking at him. 'Is she the person they sent to clean the house' Daniel asked himself but his thoughts were said out loud. "No, am not, I live in this apartment Mr. Maxwell." Clara said with a tinge of sarcasm in her voice. "How do you know my name?"

"I am your student from Lakeview high, class 3 A" Clara said while rolling her eyes. Daniel looked surprised cause no one ever talked to him with that tone ever since his family was murdered. "I wasn't informed that I will be sharing my own apartment " Daniel said with anger in his voice. The whole building belonged to him and he was not going to share the apartment that his parents first lived in."Am sorry to inform you I had already paid my rent for the rest of the year so you should be the one to move out". Clara was angry as she lashed out on Daniel. "I own the building so it is my place so you should move out" Daniel said trying to control his anger.

"Let's just agree to stay here and never disturb each other, okay?" Clara said with a sweet forced smile. Daniel was awe stricken by that smile but he had to remind himself that she is a minor and he is her teacher. " Okay but don't tell anyone that we live together and don't talk to me unless it is related to studies" Daniel said as he turned and headed to his bedroom to unpack. Clara was ecstatic that she was not getting kicked out and headed to the study to finish her assignments before heading out. It was midnight and Clara was busy putting on a raven coloured wig and ice blue contact lenses. She was in black from top to bottom as she grabbed a bag on top of her bed before jumping out of the window and blended with the night.
