~ Hunters Association Academy ~

Jeston and Alexa were now standing at the front gate of the Hunters Association Academy. They immediately left Jeston's apartment after hanging up the call. 

Alexa was in a hurry because Titania's life might be in danger. She felt sick because she was injured by a silver dagger. Her body was poisoned.

Upon arriving at the Academy, the two of them encountered a problem. The guard could not allow Alexa to enter the academy. So Jeston found out that Alexa was not a hunter trained by the Hunters Association because she didn't have the access pass to enter the gate.

Alexa had no time to explain. They needed to see Titania as soon as possible so Jeston had no other choice but to use his connection and influence to let Alexa enter the academy. 

He used the same privilege Ethan had used before in order for Titania to enter the Academy. Alexa became his student hunter recruit or in other words his apprentice.

Because of that, the Academy's guard let her pass through. Soon, the two of them rushed inside, going to the Hunters Academy's Clinic where Ethan was waiting for them.

Meanwhile, the doctor and nurse were still examining Titania. Upon checking her vitals, they found out that her body temperature was 39.2 degrees celsius.

They tried to lower her body temperatures by injecting some medicines into her body but it didn't work. Her temperature kept on rising instead of lowering down.

"Ethan, I suggest that you bring her to the hospital now. This kind of body temperature is not normal anymore. Even after injecting medicines, her temperature didn't go down. This is not good for her. Maybe she got an infection because of her wound," The Academy's doctor advised Ethan.

Ethan became more worried when he heard that. "Can we use the academy's ambulance?"

"Yes, of course, you can. Go and bring her now before her condition gets worse."

Then the doctor asked the nurse to inform the staff assigned today in the ambulance. They needed to bring a patient to the hospital as soon as possible.

It did not take long when the ambulance stopped in front of the clinic. Ethan used the stretcher to transfer Titania to the ambulance. They were about to leave when Jeston and Alexa arrived.

"Wait! Ethan, where are you planning to bring her?" Alexa stopped Ethan on his track. Titania was already inside the ambulance.

"In the hospital, her fever is so high. After taking medicine, it didn't go down. The doctor suggested that I should bring her to the hospital," Ethan explained to her.

'Argh. Ordinary medicine will not work for her. Titania's blood was poisoned by that silver. Her body was already affected, causing her temperature to rise.' Alexa looked in Titania's direction before gazing at Ethan again.

"Do you want Titania to feel better?" Alexa asked him with a very serious tone.

"Of course, I do!" Ethan responded promptly.

Jeston was just silently watching them from behind. He didn't know what Alexa was planning to do now. This was the first time he saw her wearing a serious expression.

"Then trust me. I will treat her. You don't have to bring her to the hospital." Alexa said with so much conviction in her words.

Ethan and Jeston were both rendered speechless. For them, bringing Titania to the hospital was the best option to do right now. But Alexa was telling them not to do it.

"It's not that I don't trust you, Alexa. But I think going to the hospital now is the best option. They have enough facilities and equipment there that they can use to treat Titania," Ethan didn't want to gamble with this one because Titania's life was on the line.

Alexa had already expected this. Ethan would not easily believe her without a proper explanation. But she couldn't reveal to them Titania's identity.

She couldn't trust them fully either. They were still hunters, mortal enemies of werewolves just like her and Titania. But the more they argued like this and delaying time the more Titania's life would be put in great danger.

"If you can't trust me then trust Titania. She already told you. I am the one she needs. I am the only one who can cure her. Believe her words, Ethan." Alexa said to him meaningfully. She was doing her best to convince Ethan.

"This is the reason I am here. You came looking for me, remember? Because you listened to Titania," Alexa added.

Ethan fell silent after hearing that. He was still contemplating what to do. Then he recalled Titania's words.

{ "Call Alexa, tell her what happened to me. I want to see her. I need her. She's the only one who can cure me," }

After a few seconds, Ethan finally agreed with Alexa. Ethan held Alexa's shoulders as he looked straight into her eyes.

"Please, treat her. Save her. I'm putting my trust in you now. Please do your best to make her feel better." Ethan's blue eyes were filled with worries and concerns for Titania. Alexa could see it.

Alexa just nodded at him, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Leave it to me. I will do my best. Titania is my friend. I won't let her die. I will kill myself first before letting that happen." Titania was the daughter of their Alpha. Alexa had the obligation to save and protect her life no matter what.

"Hey, don't say that. I don't want you to die." Jeston reacted immediately.

Alexa just smiled at him. Then she turned to Ethan.

"Bring her to her room. I will treat her there," Alexa instructed Ethan.

Ethan nodded at her. He talked to the staff and the driver. He told them that they were not going to the hospital anymore.

Soon, Ethan brought Titania to her dormitory room. Jeston and Alexa followed them behind. Titania was still unconscious. Ethan put her down in her bed and Alexa asked the two men to leave them.

Though Ethan felt reluctant to leave, he had no choice but to follow Alexa's instructions. The two men just stood outside Titania's dormitory room.

Jeston could feel Ethan's uneasiness. He was worried-sick about Titania. He kept pacing back and forth in front of Jeston who was leaning on the wall.

"How did this happen?" Jeston asked Ethan curiously.

"I think it's my fault," Ethan mumbled instead of answering Jeston's query.

"What do you mean? Are you the one who accidentally stabbed her? Besides, I don't think it's about her wound. Maybe she's already sick before she attended the training today." Jeston shared his thoughts about this incident.

"No, I didn't do it. Her mentor today was Athena. I am also thinking about the same thing but she just looked fine a while ago. Then after getting stabbed, she just fell very ill like this." Ethan couldn't wash away his worry for her.

"Oh, so Athena is the culprit, your obsessed admirer," Jeston said while wrinkling his brows.

"Yeah, I think she harmed Titania because of me," Ethan said with certainty.

Jeston's frown deepened after hearing that. "But it doesn't make sense. Why would she do that to Titania? Is she jealous of your apprentice?"

"Because I told her that Titania is my girlfriend."

"WHAT?! Titania is your girlfriend?! Did you really say that to her? Are you insane, Dude? Why did you do that?" Jeston reacted exasperatedly.

Ethan nodded in agreement as he thought about something. 'Yeah, I think I am already insane. I kissed Titania without thinking that people might see us. Unluckily, it was Athena who saw it. Damn, I couldn't help it. Her lips were like a drug. I got addicted the moment I tasted it once.'

"Hey, why are you so quiet? I am asking you a question. Why did you do it?" Jeston asked him again.

Ethan had no plan of telling Jeston that he kissed Titania, or else, Jeston would never stop teasing him. He could also use it to blackmail him. So there's no way he would tell him that. Not today. Maybe next time but not today.

"Nothing. I just want her to stop chasing after me so I told her I already have a girlfriend." Ethan said as an excuse.

Jeston just nodded his head. But he was still doubtful. 

'Is that the only reason why Ethan lied to Athena about his relationship with Titania? Or he had another reason? Is he planning to make Titania his girlfriend for real?' Jeston pondered at that thought while watching Ethan's worried expression.
