FIRST DAY AT WORK 1
"You arrived so early Adara. Mr Bancroft has already told me you'll be working for him from now on. Why did you lie about being his sister-in-law yesterday?" Phoebe asked staring at me.
I was lost for words. I didn't lie about being Dalton's wife. I really am going to be married to Dalton Bancroft.
"Why do you think so?" I asked her back.
"You can't be Master Dalton's wife if you're Mr Bancroft's sex partner for the next six months." She said casually and all blood drained from my face. She was right, that was just not possible.
What have I done?
