FIRST DATE

Several days since Kavin left Jayden still felt guilty for misunderstanding his best friend. Jayden was in his dorm when his sister Tia knocked on the door. She had come to inform him that they had opened a new company South Africa and that he should be happy since their mother would spent most of time there. He was free to do what he wanted even to persue Jannie. Tia said Jannie was very hard to catch but if he needed any help she would definitely help. Jayden wanted advice from his sister to persue Jannie. Based on how she knew Jannie she doesn't like beating around the bush, therefore he should skip that step. He should ask her out on a date directly no texting and or call cause it would be a waste of time. Jayden thought about his sister's advice and couldn't know if was going to work but choose to try . Tia saw that his brother was lost in his thoughts So she tapped on his shoulder and he was back. She told him he was a grown up and been an adult meant taking care of every and any problem so he should not let her down and then she left the room.

At school during lunch break,Jannie and Anna were having a nice lunch then the 3 girls started to brag how they were at the airport with bad boys to say goodbye to Tine and Kavin . Jannie was at the airport and didn't see them Soo obviously they were lying. They heard what Jannie said and wanted to attack her but a voice came on time before they could lauch there attacks. Jayden voice came from the speakers and the whole school listened . He said he had an important announcement to make, and was for Jannie . From his sound they could hear that he was nervous a little, but gathered his courage and said that the following Sunday they should meet at Spur mall Thika Highway by 5PM. All the students were speechless and could not believe Jayden had just asked Jannie for a date. Jannie thought he was just fooling around and ignored his message .She thought it was his new way to bully her and she wasn't going to fall for it. When her friend asked whether she would go she told them No cause it can never be a date .Jayden was not type of guy who chased or pampered people. He Was the one to be chased and be pampered by many but now he had lowered all that for Jannie? Even himself couldn't believe it. He also had another flaw he didn't like to wait for anyone and if you wanted to be with him you were the one who had to wait and you had to put up with him. That's whom he was,but if girl was important might change him forever.

That Saturday Jannie and Jayden were to have their 1st date, Jannie was confused on whether to go or not. She took a shower dressed in her casual clothes and decided to go. She went and on the way a heavy rain fell. Jannie had no umbrella her clothes were dripping wet and another bad luck her phone battery died. She had no communication and it was 5 mins to 5PM. She knew she would not make it on time .So went back to her dorm, changed clothes took a novel and started reading. In her heart she felt that she did bad so she quickly put on a sweater and went to spur mall wearing just pajamas. It was 5:30PM and knew Jayden had already left. The rain had stopped and on reaching where Jayden had told her he was there. She saw Jayden who had been rained on waiting for her. She opened her mouth obviously in shock of what she saw but no word came out of her mouth. They stared at each other deep in the eyes like they were pulling each other close .
