Chapter 5: Today Will Be Better

So far I've woken up and I found out that we can still eat normal food like we used to, according to the spell book we only need a small amount every few days or every week to stay alive, to have better abilities you need few drops every day. But I came across something interesting in the spell book while I was looking through it, it was shocking and confusing but I think I figured it out. On the piece of paper it said all of me and my siblings birth dates and birth parents, I'm not my fathers child...my mother had an affair with a werewolf. I know it's impossible, because I'm already a vampire, how could I be a werewolf too? How could werewolves exist? But then I figured it out...I'm a hybrid, a mix between a werewolf and a vampire, and according to one of the spells in the book a werewolf gene is a curse that runs in your bloodline that activates when you kill someone, you have to turn into a werewolf on the next full moon. The next full moon is tonight, but it says here that a hybrid, like me, doesn't have to turn on a full moon, we get to turn at free will, whenever we want to! So I'm happy about that, especially since, as it says in the book, a werewolf bite is toxic to a vampire, so I won't hurt my siblings, after all we are the first vampires ever to exist. I almost forgot to mention that it says my sister, Tatia is part witch, like my mother was, so we decided to give mothers spell book to her so she could learn something from it, turns out Elijah is just a regular vampire thank goodness, but he is frustrated since I am stronger than all of them, and Tatia is the daughter of an all powerful witch, who just so happened to inherited her powers. We are immortal of course, and the only thing that can kill us is a white oak stake, and there is only one white oak tree that is in our village, there is no other anywhere in the world. However, the stake wouldn't work on me, it would only hurt me, since the only way to kill a hybrid is to either rip their head off, or rip their heart out, I just hope it doesn't come to either of those. I also just had Elijah get us all some blood for dinner, did you know that when we drink blood a bunch of veins pop out underneath our eyes And they turn red, it's so weird. So I guess today wasn't better...
