Chapter 27

Yullia Sebes, The principal of Grace Academy.

She was a well known figure in the world. Yullia comes from the Sebes family which is known to be master craftsman. All the high grade artifacts and weapons are made by the members of Sebes family.

Yullia had a very special talent which initially was thought to be branched out from forging. But Later it turned out to be an entirely different form. She had the 'null element' which can be turned into any form of other elements or any solid structure.

Her fame rose amongst the world as a new emerging hero of the current generation.

Anything other than that was not known to the general media and masses. The reason to the lack of any information about her is her rare public appearances. In the last 5 year she had only appeared four times in the general public.

As she was standing on the stage, looking at her curious students, she continued-

"I don't think I need any introductions as we have already met each other at the opening ceremony. I don't want to waste any of your time further, There has been an accident occurred recently and some of your classmates were heavily involved in it."

She glanced at Elliott and his group, letting everyone know who those students were.

"What we learned in the aftermath of the incident is the most important part. It was discovered that the dungeons in Reeple city are not safe anymore. Rather all the lower level dungeons are not safe for lower level mages. Hence, the Academy has decided that the upcoming dungeon exploration camp will be cancelled. And also every student is prohibited to enter a dungeon until a further notice is announced."

The students began to gasps.

Some were relieved to hear the event being cancelled, while some were frustrated. Many others were planning to visit a dungeon in the coming weekend, were now having a hard time swallowing the banishment of the dungeons.

There were those who started to whisper,

'This is all because of Elliott and his group. They were the ones who took leaves for 2 days and some are even on leave now.'

The whisper spread like a gust of wind across the entire student body. Unexpectedly, there was no mention of Rey and his friends.

"SILENCE!!"

Yullia added her essence in the words she spoke, the entire student body was shut in a second.

"As I was saying, the dungeon exploration camp will be cancelled. But a new event will take the place of the previous one. The new event will be a survival test of sorts. You all will be sent to a monster island and you have to survive for five days on the island on your own. The location of the island will be not given until the day of examination. The island will have number of monsters in every corner and you have to survive for five days with just your party.

Further details will be given by your homeroom teacher and the party registration will also be done by the homeroom teacher.

Now, the second thing....."

She stopped speaking and pointed towards Elliott and Amisha. She gestured them to come up on the stage.

Elliott and Amisha hesitantly got up and walked up to the stage. There face was a bit pale as they didn't knew the reason behind the calling.

"Students, these two fellow classmates along with their other three friends, who are allegedly at home. They committed a grave mistake while dungeon diving. These arrogant students entered an E-Rank dungeon without any of them being in D-Rank. They broke the most basic and the most important rule in dungeon diving. For this mistake, they almost had to pay back with their lives."

She ashamed both Elliott and Amisha in front of entirety of the first years.

"Hence, as a punishment and to set an example in front of you, these five will be suspended for two weeks from the Academy. They will not be allowed to leave the campus nor they would be allowed to attend the lectures. All they can do is, use the training grounds for training and Mess for eating. No matter how good of a student you are, If you act arrogant and break the laws, you will be punished severely."

"And this is a warning to everyone present here, If I caught someone violating this rule, they will be expelled immediately."

Yullia left the stage after giving a final warning, and the assembly ended there.

Later in the evening on that same day, inside a run-down factory ware-house at the edge of the city.

Two hooded people were meeting each other for the first time.

One of them was Professor Raya and the other one was the secretary of Drece, who was currently on the run.

His name was Brian. He didn't belonged to any families and was an orphan. He grew up in the slums and was introduced to the cruel reality of the world at a very young age. Brian used every thing he could use and rose to a position of a secretary of a branch guild head.

The Branch head of Seven Heaven Guild of Reeple city was an arrogant man and was easy to manipulate. Brian showed Drece, how to make money using other things and other people. He was living a good life until the incident that happened 3 days ago.

Drece was arrested, so he had make a run for his life.

Brian was already turned into a fugitive. Since he had nowhere to go, Brian decided to join the infamous Warlocks also known as Mage Killers.

Warlocks are a secret organization of criminals and people who are born without Essence, who all want to knock down the rules and regulation set up by the Association. And to complete their goals, they would sacrifice as many lives as they deemed as worth completing their goals.

Brian who newly joined the organization, was tasked with getting a teacher from Grace Academy to work for the organization in their upcoming plan to attack the golden generation of the Academy, that is the first years.

Brian was a known figure before the incident happened. He had every important news floating in the Reeple city. Most of them revolved around the Academy and it's precious teachers and students.

One news of such made his mind to meet up with Professor Raya.

Brian knew that Raya had a deep grudge against Somia. They both had the same feelings towards the girl.

That's why Brian proposed his plan to Raya. He didn't mention the name of Warlocks anywhere, just said the reason was 'personal grudge'.

But to Brian's surprise he was rejected.

"I will absolutely not do it. If you are caught by either the school or Jonathan, I will be caught in no time too. And it also endangers the life of other students. I won't tell anyone about this meeting, so do not try to meet me again."

Raya left after saying those words.

But instead of frowning, Brian had a faint smile on his face. He knew how to read haughty and arrogant nobles very well.

'If you are rejected by someone once, then create a scenario where he has no other choice than to accept you.'

These were the words, he learned from the slums and made it his life's motto.

"I have no grudge against you Raya, but I would lose my life if I don't get you...I'm sure you will understand!"
